Been a minute since our last post, however back at it!

Wanted to give a quick color run of what’s been working up and down the coast based on your feedback.
.
The new Shallow Diver has stayed hot specifically OS Pearl Harbor and of course Pistachio. It’s such a great alternative to an early morning topwater bite or when those fish are up skinny over structure or grass.
.
The DD needs little reason why it’s so good but the 3 colors that have been consistent have been The Truth, OS Pinky and Pistachio.

Beautiful 29” trout sightcasted last summer. Perfect example of chasing schools of reds looking for silver, I’ll post the video tomorrow. School of slot reds feeding 75 yards in front of us, this was the SMALLER one of the two trout I saw cruising in the dust trail. The other one spit my customers lure right after the hookset.

5” Nuke Juice @coastalbrewbaits on a 1/16th oz @texas_custom_lures jighead is my sightcasting choice, lure color varies.

Still got July availability starting after the 10th. Holler at me to chase giant trout this summer!

The provoker continues to produce solid bites. The watermelon red color is hands down my go to. Mirrolure’s watermelon red is definitely a different color than traditional watermelon reds. Theirs has an almost orange tint to it along with a more translucent body. It seems to produce in any condition or water color. Very finicky bite on this day (last Sunday) fishing in Mississippi waters with storms popping up all around us. The provoker proved it always has a spot in my box! by @texas_custom_lures

Yet another Chandy toad on Pistachio Double D for ole Jeff.

Whether you want to believe it or not, sometimes throwing the right lure in an area full of smaller trout WILL result in landing a bigger trout. The Double D is notorious for just that. There are tons of variables to it all, but here lately our bigger fish are in with schools of smaller fish. You will greatly enhance your chances of landing a bigger one by throwing the right lure. The Double D and certain tails have been on fire for us lately in these situations. You can throw other things and catch plenty of eater trout, or tie on the right lure and catch a good one! taken in Chandeleur Islands by @texas_custom_lures
