Behind the name Texas Fire❤️‍🔥🏀

This team was started with a purpose, and that purpose has stayed the same from day one. We want to play hard, love our teammates, grow as players and people, and point everything back to Christ.

Here’s a little look at the people and the purpose behind Texas Fire.

Today, we remember September 11, 2001. 🇺🇸

Remembering the lives lost, the families affected, and the heroes who served and sacrificed that day.

Hi I’m Coach Micah. I’ve coached basketball, football, baseball, softball and golf. Basketball is my favorite by far. This is my 15th year coaching hoopers but I’ve been involved in organized basketball as a player, coach or official for more than 40 years.

Texas Fire was founded for girls who desire to work hard and use their talents to glorify God. Whether a girl wants to be a great high school player or has aspirations of college athletics, we try to provide an atmosphere in which they will be challenged and expected to do their very best.

My expectations for players are simple: Be a great teammate. Be coachable. Do YOUR best. Never give up.

Texas Fire has core values that govern everything we do. For us FIRE = Faith, Integrity, Respect, Excellence. If you want your daughter to compete in a Christian environment while being built up not only in the game, but in her faith, consider becoming a part of Texas Fire Athletic Ministries.

Email me at texasfirebb@gmail.com with any questions you might have.

Hi, I’m coach David. This is my 7th year coaching basketball. A few fun facts about me are that I’m one of five siblings, I run a small business, and I can almost always eat😉

I like coaching for Texas Fire because we are creating a challenging and fun environment for the athletes to grow and achieve their goals.

I am looking forward to seeing the years of work these girls have put in begin to bring compounding results on the court, as they continue to improve over the course of this season.
