If you're looking for standard, look somewhere else. If you're looking to lead from the front, this is it. The Infantry is where grit, tactical execution, and absolute trust in your squad meet. You learn to make split-second decisions under pressure, master advanced weaponry, and push far past what you thought were your limits.
Serving in the Texas Army National Guard doesn't set your civilian goals aside—it gives them a massive competitive edge. You get to serve part-time right here in Texas, secure college tuition assistance, and bring battle-tested leadership straight to your resume or campus. by @texasarmynationalguard

Nobody said the grind would be easy.
But here’s the real talk: that short-term discomfort is a down payment on who you’re becoming.
You go through it to forge yourself into a Citizen-Soldier. When severe weather hits, when your city faces a crisis, or when Texas needs real leaders to step up, people won't look for someone who stayed cozy on the couch. They look for the ones who embrace the challenge.
The temporary burn fades, but the discipline, confidence, and respect you earn stay forever. You walk back into your hometown not just leveled up, but as a true pillar of your community. by @texasarmynationalguard

Ten years ago, he was just a little boy playing soldier 🪖
Today, he is standing taller, stronger, and proud after graduating Basic Combat Training ☺️
Watching him make the decision to join as a high school junior and take advantage of the Split Option Training program has been incredible, but nothing prepared me for the pride I felt seeing him become the young man he is today. So proud of the work he put in, the goals he is chasing, and the young man he’s becoming 🥹💙
.
.

To the high schoolers with big dreams: believe in yourself, take the opportunity, and do not be afraid to start building your future now ✨
.
My heart is so full. Congratulations, Soldier. Being your mom is my greatest honor ❤️

Courage is a muscle built through reps. Basic Training and schools like Air Assault or Airborne are designed to test your limits. When you’re stepping off a 40-foot rappel tower or pushing through night tactical ops, 'legendary status' is built outside of your comfort zone. Earn confidence. Message us to meet with a recruiter. by @texasarmynationalguard

We pause to honor the lives lost, the incredible bravery of our first responders, and the courage of every American who stepped forward to answer the call in the days that followed.

The tragedy of that day reshaped our nation, but it also revealed our strength, unity, and resilience. As Citizen-Soldiers, we carry the legacy of those heroes in everything we do—serving our communities, protecting our neighbors, and standing ready whenever Texas calls.

Today and every day: We will Never Forget. by @texasarmynationalguard
