The last 10 days have been a roller coaster. Started out sadder than I have ever felt. My precious daddy passed away peacefully on Thursday, 5/15. We are so sad to have lost him, but are relieved that he is whole again and not in any pain. Doesn’t take away the sadness … I will always miss him. He was my daddy and I loved him so much.
Knowing daddy’s time was near we were also so excited that Elly and Brett were soon to add another beautiful boy to their family. Nash Thomas Willms came into this big world this past Tuesday, 5/20 at 5:22 am, 8 lbs. 3 oz, 21 inches long. He is the most precious blonde baby. We are so in love all over again as we were with his older brother, Beau.
From a mama’s perspective, I can’t begin to describe the joy, love and pride in watching my daughter mother her children. For me, she is still my baby girl and seeing this beautiful daughter of mine knowing what it means to love something so completely with that twinkle in her eyes makes my heart explode. She and Brett are the best parents to their two precious boys.
So as I begin my 67th year around the sun, I am so grateful to have had the love of my daddy, my beautiful children and the joy of my grand babies in my life to love and watch grow. Thank you for all the wonderful birthday wishes …. God is so good and I am so blessed. by @texastart
