I keep picturing a shopkeeper pointing at a crate that just came in.

Not a listing. Not a pin on a map. A person who says smell this, then tells you what to cook with it.

That is what a search box cannot do. It gives you a name and some stars. The knowing lives behind the counter.

This week's article is about that. I wrote about why a neighborhood grocery store belongs in your weekly shop, and why I want ETNOWE ("EAT-NOW") to carry that shelf to your door. It is early. Houston has four grocery stores live and McKinney has two, and most other cities have one.

If you want to try a first order, here are both customer links.

Read the full piece on our site, and tell me what your local shop knows that no search ever could.

If the little boy I once was could see the man I am today, I hope he’d be proud.

From a little boy in Akure, Nigeria, with dreams bigger than his surroundings, to building something I once could only imagine.

The journey hasn’t been easy. There have been sacrifices, setbacks, sleepless nights, and moments when giving up seemed easier than moving forward.

But somewhere along the way, I realized something.

The dream was never just to make it. It was to build something that matters.

That’s what ETNOWE represents to me. More than an app. More than a business. It’s a piece of home, a bridge between cultures, and a reminder that where we come from can inspire where we’re going.

And the beautiful part?

We’re still becoming.

To that little boy: We haven’t made it yet, but look how far we’ve come.

I’m Teye. Until next time, keep building. by @teyemedia

They said, “Be your own boss.”

They forgot to mention that the boss is also the accountant, customer service, HR, marketing department, systems engineer, IT support, and sometimes the delivery guy. 😭😂

Entrepreneurship is sweet until you realize YOU are the emergency contact! 🤣

Fellow business owners, how many times have you shouted HELP this week? 😂👇

I spent $189 on a lock before a colleague found a suitable $59 option. The $130 difference caught me defending an expense I hadn’t really compared.

What’s one expense you almost ignored because the bigger deal looked good?

I went to Kanny’s Restaurants and Lounge @kannysrestaurant to fix a tablet, and ended up having a dinner I’m still talking about.

They were getting ready to close. I ordered jollof rice, and the bowl came packed with rice, plantain, and three or four pieces of goat meat. Every bite was delicious.

I went there to help them with something. They ended up giving me a reason to come back.

What’s one place you tried once and knew you were going back?
