Antibiotics are not “just another drug.” Misusing them can make infections harder to treat and, in severe cases, contribute to dangerous complications like sepsis. 🚨💊Don’t self-medicate. Get tested and know what you’re treating.

We run a range of laboratory tests at our lab. Visit us or send us a DM to make enquiries. 🧪

🧼 NOT SURE WHICH CLEANSER TO CHOOSE?

Your cleanser is one of the products you’ll use most consistently — so choosing one that fits your skin and routine matters.

Whether you’re dealing with dryness, sensitivity, excess oil or acne-prone skin, there isn’t one cleanser that is automatically right for everyone.

The goal is to choose based on what your skin actually needs.

And remember:

Your cleanser doesn’t have to do EVERYTHING.

Sometimes its job is simply to cleanse effectively while keeping your routine comfortable.

📩 Need help choosing? DM Skin Guia with your skin type + main concern.

✨ BUILDING A BRIGHTENING ROUTINE DOESN’T MEAN USING EVERY BRIGHTENING PRODUCT YOU SEE.

A simple routine can still target uneven tone and the appearance of dark spots.

Think:

🧼 Cleanse
✨ Choose a targeted treatment
🧴 Moisturise
☀️ Protect with sunscreen

The important part is choosing products that make sense together — rather than collecting every serum on the shelf.

At Skin Guia, we believe skincare should be intentional.

Evidence over trends.

📩 Need help choosing between our brightening options? DM us with your main concern.

🔬 **INGREDIENT SPOTLIGHT: PEPTIDES**

You’ve probably heard the word **“peptides”** everywhere lately.

But what exactly are they doing in skincare?

Peptides are short chains of amino acids used in skincare formulations for different skin-supporting purposes, depending on the specific peptide and the overall formula.

And that’s why we don’t recommend buying something simply because the label says **“peptide.”**

The specific ingredients, the overall formulation and how the product fits into your routine all matter. 🧪

At Skin Guia, we currently have several peptide-focused options:

🧬 **COSRX 6 Peptide Skin Booster**
A peptide-focused booster step.

🧴 **The INKEY List Peptide Moisturizer**
A moisturizer that incorporates peptides into a moisturizing step.

🩷 **Medicube PDRN Pink Peptide Serum**
A premium treatment option combining PDRN and peptide-focused skincare.

You don’t need all three. 👀

The goal isn’t to collect every product with a trending ingredient.

The goal is to choose products that make sense for **YOUR skin and YOUR routine.**

🛍️ All three are available at Skin Guia.

📩 Not sure which one makes sense for you? DM us with your skin type, main concern and current routine.

👩🏽‍⚕️ **ASK A PHARMACIST: CAN I USE MULTIPLE SKINCARE ACTIVES TOGETHER?**

Sometimes—but “can” doesn’t always mean “should.”

One of the easiest ways to make your skincare routine unnecessarily complicated is to introduce several active ingredients at once because you’re trying to address multiple concerns.

Before combining products, consider:

✔️ What active ingredients are you using?
✔️ How frequently are you using each one?
✔️ What other products are already in your routine?
✔️ How well does your skin tolerate them?

Some combinations may increase the chance of irritation, especially when several potentially irritating products are being used frequently.

That’s why we recommend introducing new actives gradually and giving your skin time to adjust.

And remember: **more actives ≠ better skincare.**

If you’re working on concerns such as hyperpigmentation, don’t forget your daytime sunscreen either. ☀️
