Said goodbye to my sweet angel Dana this week as she was able to be reunited with the love of her life in heaven 🤍

I’ll miss your silly faces every time we tried to take a picture, you sitting silently and lovingly watching us play games that you never wanted to play but you wanted everyone else to enjoy, your “treat days”, your constant reminders to “ground” myself, you riding through the forest on your ranger with curlers in your hair, your mini black licorice candies that you constantly had on hand, your homeopathic remedies for anything and everything, your love for flowers, your big hugs, arm tickles and so much more. Thank you for giving me a childhood of pure magic, having free rein of “the forest” alongside my cousins and the countless family get-togethers. You were an example of unwavering faith and devotion and you showed that in the way you lived every single day. You created a family that was rooted in Christ and surrounded by love. Thank you for giving me the best dad and raising him to be the incredible man he is today. I’ll feel you with me in the Colorado forests and every time I smell your sweet essential oils.

The love you and Papa shared was something I am forever grateful that I had the privilege to witness. You both had a dream for your family and made that dream a reality. Family was everything to you and that legacy lives on in the ones you’ve left behind. I know you’re dancing with your love in heaven and I can’t wait to see you again. Give Papa a big hug and kiss for me. Love you forever and missing you always Dana 🌷🌼🌸🌻 taken in Hesperus, Colorado by @tfarlsss
