I still sometimes take photos with the GoPro Camera.
I use raw + jpg, and use voice commands to take photos and switch between photo and video mode.
I usually set exposure compensation to - 0.5 and Max iso to 200. Most important factors are a clear lens and good light. GoPro 13 also works great for getting photos from 4K videos.

2km lower part of Nærøydalselva river that ends up in the fjord Nærøyfjorden in Gudvangen Norway.
It is a scenic area and nice even when it rains.

Playing around with a #goprohero9 in a #dome. @hubert_stojanowski was standing close in the water doing a great job filming while I was doing my best not to hit him with my paddle.
The water was very clear and we wanted to test the dome.

This is the #Salthella beach in #Nærøyfjorden close to #Dyrdal

The @wigkayakscom #player525 is very easy to roll.

Enter and roll can be done in more elegant way than this , but we were just playing around. This is my prefered self rescue in rough water with kayaks like the Taran, when I need to get fast out of an area. We found out that it was best if the camera was close to the kayak and I avoided making waves before the padle swipe of the roll. Swiping close to the kayak to avoid hitting the camera. Domes are quite cool for situations like this.

Looking forward to winter.

This was filmed in winter in Gudvangen.
During summer months there are a lot of people in Gudvangen and Nærøyfjorden area. There is a lot more visitors here now compared to years before. During winter the area looks more dark and moody and there are few people on the water. I prefer to kayak here during winter.

The view is towards the Viking Village in Gudvangen.

Stanghelle Norway Filmed with a #insta360x6 on a 3 m stick. The river Daleelva enters Dalevågen here, and Veafjorden is further out.

The insta360 X6 on a 3 meter long stick can give you drone like footage in places where it is difficult to to use a drone. But I usually use 360 cameras mounted to the helmet or kayak. The main advantage is choosing the frame in the edit.

I had to test the @insta360 X6 at Turøy vest of Bergen, as this is my favorite location vest of Bergen in Norway.
Filmed in 8K50fps 10 bit color log
The camera is on a 3 meter stick in the start of the video and later on a short pole mounted to the helmet.

The insta360 X6 is quite good in low light situations.

Gudlo in Øygarden filmed with a #insta360x6

I used a 3m stick and a short stick extension for the helmet mount. I filmed in 8K 50fps 10 bit log and use the LUT in insta360 studio for editing.

River in Gudvangen filmed with a #insta360x6
I mounted the Insta360 X6 camera on a short stick on top of my helmet. In the start of the video the camera is in front of me. Later the stick faces backwards and the camera is behind me. But it is the same mount for the whole video. This was filmed in harsh direct light in the middle of the day.

Camera settings: 8K 50fps 10 bit log.
Edited with the LUT in Insta360 studio
