Christmas is a remembrance. A remembrance of the access I now have to the Father. Christmas is a reminder of the life of Jesus living in me, and of my calling to a different kind of life. Christmas reminds us that whosoever believes in Him will not perish, but will have eternal life. Let Christmas remind you that there is life after death, and that God desires you to receive His life. Your decision today determines the kind of life you will live in eternity. Let Christmas remind you that Jesus loves you and calls you to abide in His love. Let it also remind you that Jesus is coming soon. Merry Christmas to you and your family. 🎄 by @tfbpublishers

Continued from the previous post. One thing you're yet to realize is that, lots of times, God answers prayers through an instruction. God could give you an instruction or an assignment to carry out but you just disobey. It may look like an impossible assignment to you or you feel you need your desires granted first before you can carry out His instruction. But you're yet to realise that that instruction is actually an answer to your prayer. Either you are disobedient or you are yet to build the intimacy with God that enables you to hear His voice. The answer to that top-of-the-list prayer of yours is most likely embedded in your obedience. Until you obey, you'll keep praying but nothing will happen. God is unsearchable and unpredictable. His ways are different from ours. He sees what we can't see and knows what we don't know. So, why don't you just trust Him wholeheartedly and obey Him thoroughly. God doesn't want self-centered children who'll think only about themselves and their needs. He wasn't joking when he said, "seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and every other thing shall be added unto you". If you have such a mindset, it would be easy for you to obey even the seemingly difficult assignments (which He even given you the grace to carry out). Develop a strong relationship with Him; have Him as your top priority...and you'll be fine. You are blessed in Jesus name. Amen ✍️ GraceOludammy by @tfbpublishers
Mark, a graduate of Civil Engineering, asks his dad (Mr. Frank) for the sum of NGN50,000. Instead his dad responds by sending him on an errand, to "take his car to Xyz mechanic for repairs and stay there till the mechanic is through". Mark grumbles and complains, saying, "am I still a little boy that you'll just be sending on errands anyhow? Can't you just send our houseboy or driver? Just say you don't want to give me the money and I will hustle to get it myself. I don't even have the time sef? I have to go around in search of a job. Unknown to Mark, Mr Hamstrung, his father's friend, a business tycoon who owns thriving companies situated in several countries including Nigeria (who is permanently based in U.K but presently in Nigeria for a conference) is in urgent need of someone trustworthy to manage his business here in Nigeria and also needs a building contractor for a project worth 700 million naira, was going to be at the same mechanic shop. Mr Frank had recommended his son (Mark) for the contract, which Mr Hamstrung had agreed to, because of their life long friendship and trust. Mr Hamstrung's car had broken down on his way home from the conference and had called Mr Frank to recommend a good mechanic. Mr Frank recommended Xyz mechanic. Since Mr Hamstrung would be travelling out of the country early the next day, Mr Frank told him that he would be sending his son Mark to the same mechanic shop to get his (Mr Frank's) car repaired too (coincidentally, his car also needed servicing), so they could meet and discuss the contract before he returns to U.K the next day. And you know what? Mark missed this. Why? Because of his disobedience. Mr Frank signifies God and Mark signifies you. You've been praying, asking, seeking, knocking, yet, it seems like your prayers are not answered. Right? Yea I know how that feels. Hmnnnnn... but...actually...do you know that God has already answered your prayers? (To be continued in my next post) by @tfbpublishers
