Few things feel more meaningful to me than being able to get after creative projects with friends. 
Bobby and I have been close friends since the 8th grade, and actually took an ‘intro to filmmaking’ class in high school- yet somehow hadn’t worked on a project together since a questionable Cheech & Chong-inspired class-project, circa 2007. 
So when the guys asked me to take a swing at “Where I Belong,” I wanted to use it as an opportunity to do something a little outside of the lane I’ve spent most of my career in.

I’ve shot a lot of live music. A lot of festivals. A lot of things where you’re reacting to what’s happening in front of you. With this one, I had an opportunity to design something- write a narrative, build scenes, shape performances, and get some reps in the kind of filmmaking that I’m inspired to keep doing more of.

While this was a very independent production (band funded, small crew, borrowed gear, a ridiculous amount of generosity from friends) we managed to pull it off and create something we’re all proud of. 
Huge shoutout to Stephan Knight, who was essentially my right hand on this- AC’ing, bringing a mountain of gear, problem solving, and helping to make this production possible- and to Ryan Eastman, who jumped on as a 1st AD, and kept everything on track on the day of the shoot.

And of course to Bobby, Jack, Corey, Tiffany, everyone who came out, acted, partied, carried shit, lent us something, or gave us their time.

2026 Here we come!

As we close out the year we want to thank all of the Songwriters and Artists who trust us with their work. To all the partners, producers, engineers, studios, supervisors, agents, admins, distributors, photographers, videographers, designers, fans, and listeners… continued success is a group effort in this industry and we truly appreciate you.

2025 was absolute chaos but at the end of it all we’re stepping forward as a slightly bigger team, and with loads of new music that we can’t wait to share!

SPOILER ALERT: I DRIVE 😎 I knew the convertible life was for me! It’s funny because I almost didn’t do this audition: I had to submit an hour late and it felt so out of reach and what was the point? Fast forward to a multi-day shoot in my hometown, driving an unreleased car, closing down HWY 1, eating lots of donuts, sitting next to a stunt double with a blacked out film car circling us, missing a day of a @textmerecords writing camp 🥲, and highway patrol doing that zig zag thing on the freeway pissing everyone off so they could film me driving down it.

Sometimes I feel misunderstood for being a woman in both the modeling industry and the music industry. Eyes that say I’m not ‘professional’ enough, too ditsy, or even too feminine. But then I have moments like this where the people who see me see me and I feel like I can and should be able to do it all. Why do I have to choose? When I asked the production team why they picked me (I’m nosy), they said: we knew it was always you. And I feel right where I’m meant to be.

So I’m not going to dim my light on this untraditional path I’m paving and I hope you don’t either. Whether if I work for you as talent or as a music professional: you better believe I’m more than capable and I’m going to kick ass 😘 taken in Hwy 1 Pacific Coast by @tffnywlsn
