⭐️ (Reclusive) Hot Girls Report To The Front ⭐️

Breaking my 2-year social media sabbatical with a series of film pics I took at @bam_bii ‘s “Hot Girls” pop up at @gauchoworld.space the other week.

A wise heaux once said ‘hot girls is a state of mind’ but lately I’ve been channelling more hermit girl. I’ve been insiiidee. Minding my business. And maybe a little too disengaged from the outside world while simultaneously thinking and feeling far too much about the state of it.

I did, however, leave my enclosure and rumination behind for the evening, camera in hand. And I’m glad I did cause everyone I encountered that day was a whole viibe. Cool drip, great chat, beautiful faces. Lush inside and out 🤌🏾

Anyway, the world may literally be burning but sometimes you just need an excuse to put your glad rags on, leave your enclosure, chat sh⭐️t with strangers and remember you’re still a young heaux with things to say and things to make!

I had my @nts_radio debut last Friday on @martha_radio’s show (eek) which in classic me style I was mad nervous for 🫨

I played a 20 min guest mix which actually went better than I thought it would, although still room for improvement (forever my worst critic). I tried to showcase as much of my taste and what I’ve been vibing to in 20 mins, old and new. Played some tracks from @regal86regal86 , @miakoden , @joy_orbison_ , @sarahfarinabln, @fon.zo, @ekzanderr to name a few.

Honestly, I don’t know what it is about recording mixes, I always trip up over my own nerves or second guess myself especially playing on the fly, lol 🙄 when I’m playing freely I’m less in my head, I make fewer mistakes, I’m more confident but we’re working on it 💪🏾 soon come I guess.

Had some film rolls knocking around since 2020 that I’d been meaning to get developed and had forgotten what was even on them… until today 😍 like a mini time capsule 😁 honestly one of the beauties of shooting film is not knowing what you’re gonna get and 2 years on I was pleasantly surprised! 🤗
