Shards of Memory, a solo exhibition by TG Freeson — artist and founder of Circular ArtSpace. 19–29 June 2025

This is TG Freeson’s first exhibition in years — a return to sharing her work in the very space she created to support hundreds of artists over time.

Through an exploration of light, colour, and memory, her paintings offer fragments of personal, emotional, and psychological landscapes — visual translations of inner experience.

TG lives with a rare and debilitating condition that deeply shapes her life and creative process. Despite this, she continues to cultivate artistic vision and community.

Circular ArtSpace was born from her hope to support artists — especially those facing barriers due to illness, disability, or marginalisation.

Back on track after months publishing nothing on socials.
Due to my health condition I can’t paint anymore as before. It is really sad and frustrating. I try to fight everyday and try to get motivations. Unfortunately it is not easy at all. Anyway here it is a seascape, and I couldn’t begin again differently.

Working with mixed media - watercolours, pencils, acrylics and ink on paper; the artworks on display explore the interaction of light and colours.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! To the hundreds of people who came and enjoyed the exhibition @centrespacegallery during the last (bank) arty holiday. Special thank to @ruthpiper for support, help and advice. I wish her the best for her solo beautiful exhibition @studio44ad in Bath.
Now there is no time to relax at all!
Next weekend will be very hectic again. Because I’ll be part of 2 exciting art event.
@bs5arttrail 7-8 May in Easton and @bcafbath the 8th of May in Bath. The 9th maybe I can take a rest. Of course if you would like to enjoy other arty weekend you can go @northstreetgallery where I’m exhibiting some of my paintings with many talented artists.

This exhibition is a reflection of my technical work and of my emotional journey. The pieces shown are a product of my technical research on the interaction of light and colours, as well as the intimate study of my feelings. The places and subjects I depict are not simply landscapes, but they are the expressions of my memories and feelings.
