On May 2nd at 1:45pm, I will proudly earn my Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems degree from Alabama State University! This milestone marks the culmination of an incredible journey filled with growth, challenges, and countless blessings. My favorite verse, Zephaniah 3:17, has been the most inspiring part of my college experience. This scripture has carried me through every hurdle and moment of doubt. Choosing Alabama State University four years ago was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. As a 3rd-generation Hornet, the path was always laid out for me, but it was my village that has been my rock throughout this journey. Their unwavering support has meant everything.
A saying that truly resonates with my experience here: “At Alabama State University we’re small enough to know you and big enough to grow you.” ASU has provided me with incredible opportunities. I am deeply thankful to the Perry J. Vaughn, Jr. College of Business Administration, my professors, advisors, and dean for believing in me and guiding me every step of the way. Working as a student intern in the Testing Center and Foundation Offices has been invaluable. These roles have equipped me with practical skills and prepared me for my future career in risk and financial advisory. Every part of this college experience has been ordained by God. I am truly blessed beyond measure and grateful for the memories, lessons, and growth from these past four years. Here’s to the next chapter!
