A little late, but feeling really grateful for everyone who made this birthday feel so special. The messages, the love, the laughs, the time together - all of it meant more than I can express

The text that makes a lash artists day 👀 👉🏼

Great retention doesn’t happen by luck. It’s the result of proper prep, controlled adhesive use, precise application, and respecting the natural lash cycle - especially with classic sets.

2016 POV: You’re a new mom, obsessed with lashes, and about to make the scariest decision of your life 😮‍💨

In 2016 my son was born, and at the same time I was figuring out the kind of future I wanted for us. I was working in a salon, doing lashes I loved, but in an environment that didn’t love me back.

So I made a scary decision - I left and went out on my own.

Back then my business was know as “Lashes by Teresa”. That leap pushed me to get serious. I wanted more than just “doing lashes.” I wanted to be better. I wanted to grow, learn, train, and build something I could truly be proud of.

I took a private class with @itslenaasher from @lashmakers and everything shifted. My confidence and skills skyrocketed, while my drive became unstoppable.

I started working from home, building real relationships with my clients - many of which are still with me today (and yes…some turned into friendships 🤍)

I created my own private training courses. I poured my heart into education. And for the first time, I realized this industry wasn’t just a job for me, it was a passion that could also financially support my son and I.

I had already been lashing for about three years at that point, but 2016 was the year my little business truly took off and began evolving into what would eventually become TGL Artistry.

Looking back now, I’m so grateful for every uncomfortable moment that pushed me to bet on myself.

2016 Teresa would be really proud of 2026 Teresa ✨

When I started lashing in 2013, I had no idea where this journey would take me - I just knew I loved the artistry and the way lashes could change how someone felt about themselves.

In 2017, I turned that passion into a business, and it’s followed me through two provinces, a pandemic, countless industry shifts, and more reinventions than I can list. I’ve seen products come and go, trends rise and fade, rules change overnight, and the entire lash world evolve in real time.

Through it all, one thing that’s been constant is the brands and people I choose to stand behind. Working with @revolashion has been one of the most grounding, inspiring parts of my career. I’ve trusted their products long before I ever worked with them - the quality, the innovation, the integrity…it just aligned with what I value as an artist and business owner.

I’ve been a lash artist, an educator, a mentor, and always a student. And no matter how much the industry changes, the intention behind my work stays the same: to make every client feel confident, cared for, and understood.

If you’ve been part of my journey, from day one or from today - thank you. Your trust is what kept this business alive through every chapter 🤍 by @tglartistry
