Today I visited a gym I used to train at almost 12 years ago.

I’ve been working out since I was 13 or 14 years old, but somewhere along the way, around the time I had my first daughter, I stopped. I started a business, life got hectic, and all I cared about was providing my daughter with a better life than I had.

Looking back, I realize the gym was never only about building muscle. It was what kept me okay mentally. Through all the hard shit in life, it gave me an outlet—somewhere to escape the harsh realities of my past and turn pain into something positive.

I’ve been back consistently for 9 months now. As much as it has transformed me physically, what it has done for me mentally means even more.

If you’re struggling with PTSD, ADHD, depression, anxiety, or you simply don’t feel like yourself—move your body. Work out. Put the work in. The gym won’t solve every problem, but it can give you the strength to keep fighting through them. It might even save your life.

And like always, if you’re struggling and need someone to talk to, reach out. I’m here. You’re not alone. 💪🏼☘️

Family , fitness , business and enjoying life that’s the type of shit I been on lately got me feeling like Superman. Life’s gonna knock you the fuck down no matter what I’m a father to my kids and I’m a man. And I’m always going to stay ten toes down. The devil will try to infiltrate but that’s why I get on my knees and pray everyday because my trust in god will outweigh the evil attacking me . I never had a chance in this world all the odds were stacked against me and some how I rose out of the mud. That’s why I have to keep on going ❤️ by @tgriptommy

These old ladies are gonna put me out of business 🤣❤️
If you’re in a position to help someone, don’t take it for granted. God may have put you in that position for a reason.
