DODGERS SWEEEEEP!
FINAL: Dodgers 5, Littles 1

Dodgers finish the season 100-62.
· Andy Pages hit his 23rd homer in the 10th and led with 4 RBI's.
· Birthday boy Alex Call drove in the go-ahead run.
· Tommy Tanks went 2-for-3.
· Mad Max had two hits and two walks.

They will be off for the next 5 days, before opening the NLDS at Dodger Stadium next Saturday (10/3).
Dodgers will face the winner of the Braves/Phillies series.

Dave Roberts appreciation post. Yes, I know, Tommy… he hasn’t won shit this year yet. But he’s put our team into a great position to become the first NL team in history to pull off the threepeat.

Congratulations to Doc, the staff and every player who has been on this 2026 roster, for surviving another grind and coming out ready for the spotlight.

It’s astonishing how one skipper has doubled an entire franchise’s 100W season tally in only 11 seasons at the helm.

BREAKING: Treinen Done For 2026

During the postgame presser, Dave Roberts said P Blake Treinen suffered a shoulder injury when he was warming up in the bullpen today. They will be sending him for imaging but Roberts said his season is pretty much over. It's the same shoulder that has been sidelining him in previous injuries.

With this being his final year on his contract, it is highly likely this is the last we see Treinen in a Dodgers uniform.

All BS aside, thank you for your services Captain 'Merica.

OLD FRIEND ALERT: Yates Calls Game Forever

Former Dodgers pitcher Kirby Yates (currently a Pirates reliever) announced his retirement after the 2026 season following his first career start today against the Detroit Tigers.

Yates pitched one season (2025) for the Dodgers as a right-handed reliever. He signed a one-year, $13 million contract on January 30, 2025.

2025 Stats with the Dodgers
• Games: 50
• Record: 4-3
• ERA: 5.23
• Innings: 41.1
• Strikeouts: 52 (11.32 K/9)
• Walks: 17
• Saves: 3
• Holds: 15
• WHIP: 1.33
• Home runs allowed: 9
He started reasonably well (strong strikeout rate early, many scoreless outings through April), but performance declined after injuries and as the season progressed. The Dodgers increasingly limited him to lower-leverage situations (games with multi-run leads or deficits).

Then the injuries...

Yates had three stints on the injured list:
• Right hamstring strain (May)
• Lower back pain (around early August)
• Right hamstring strain again (late September, ending his season)

He was not on the postseason roster. The Dodgers won the 2025 World Series; Yates earned a ring but did not pitch in the playoffs.

After the season he became a free agent and signed a one-year, $5 million deal with the Los Angeles Angels for 2026 (later moving to the Pittsburgh Pirates midseason).
