AMD paid $8.2B for a company with no disclosed revenue.

They didn’t buy revenue. They bought the map ,the team that sees what AI will demand next, so they can build the chips that run it.

Nvidia did the same with Hugging Face at $12.9B.

Most companies acquire customers. The great ones acquire foresight.

There’s no official government definition of “income class.” Pew Research’s widely cited framework defines middle class as 67%–200% of median household income, adjusted for household size and location ,not a flat number. That puts 2026 middle class at roughly $55,000–$163,000 for a typical household.

Why it matters: a single person and a family of five both earning $80K are in very different financial positions. Same with $115K in rural Mississippi vs. San Francisco ,the buying power isn’t close.

35 with $0 saved? Here’s exactly what it takes to retire with $1 million.

$308 every paycheck (biweekly), invested into VOO from age 35 to 65, at an assumed 8% average annual return, gets you to $1M by retirement.

The breakdown: $269/paycheck maxes out your Roth IRA (2026 limit is $7,000/year ,tax-free growth forever). The remaining $39/paycheck goes into a regular brokerage account (taxable, but still compounding).

It’s not too late. Past performance doesn’t guarantee future returns, but this is what consistent, boring investing looks like over 30 years. Time in the market beats timing the market.
