Finished up this combo for my buddy that owns a lumber mill, the blade is a 1084 jacket with bandsaw blade from his mill as the core. Handle material is dyed quilted ash, stabilized from K&G. Guard is fluted wrought with a 416 ss spacer. Sheath is made from wicket and Craig leather with a rattlesnake inlay.
Have a great day!

Spent the last few weeks making some fly fishing nets, a few for donations, some for retirement gifts and a couple for an upcoming show. All Pennsylvania hardwoods including maple, walnut and cherry. The fish are too beautiful to have their photo with an ugly net!😊 #flyfishing #trout #handmade #fishingnet #fishinglife #fishing by @thadstager

Happy to get this finished up and wrapped by Christmas, I’m so happy when I heard Tanner at Claridge Leather was offering his satchel pattern and a video to go with it. This was definitely out of my leather working comfort zone but I love how it turned out. Leather is dark brown English Bridal from Cindy at Wickett and Craig here in Pennsylvania and the hardware came from the Buckle Guy. I hope you all have a Merry Christmas!

Made a small 1x42 grinder designated for sharpening & leatherwork. This is compact enough to keep on my bench and light enough to store on a shelf. Variable speed servo motor with f/r. Have a great weekend!
