Girl, get ready to make things happen đŸ™ŒđŸŒ

đŸ‘‰đŸŒ first save this video and share it with a friend who you’d like to join you in this

Welcome to Habit of the Day where we ditch the dieting drama and build real results, one powerful habit at a time.

Because here’s the truth no one talks about:

Lasting weight loss isn’t about discipline.

It’s about systems.
Routines.
Rhythms.

It’s about who you become in the process not how many calories you cut.

If you’re a postpartum mom trying to lose weight and keep it off, this series is for you.

Because crash diets and hours long workouts don’t work when you’re raising humans, running on coffee, and trying to piece your identity back together.

You need a plan that fits your life not one that takes it over.

And it all starts with one habit.

Today’s habit: Eat a 30–40 gram protein breakfast.

Not a protein bite.
Not a 15g shake.

I’m talking about a full, blood sugar-balancing, hunger-crushing, metabolism-revving meal.

Why?

Because your first meal sets the tone for your entire day.

When you start with carbs and caffeine, you’re setting yourself up for cravings, crashes, and the 3pm cookie crawl.

But when you start with a solid dose of protein, you stabilise your blood sugar, reduce hunger hormones, and make better choices without relying on willpower.

This one shift changes how you eat, how you feel, and how your body responds and it requires zero tracking, counting, or restriction.

Start here.

And keep showing up.

Because your habits not your hustle will carry you home.

And this time, you’re not just losing weight.

You’re becoming the woman who never needs to start over again.

And if you’re watching this and you’re like I love this but I want more I want to finally lose weight for good and feel more fit, lean and confident than ever

A year can change everything.

Amelia came to me feeling stuck — no time, bad habits, low confidence. Fast forward 90 days
she’s down 10kg, stronger, leaner, and actually *loves* the gym.

But the best part? She hit her goal in time to book that Disneyland trip with her girls. 🎱✹

This is what happens when you commit, stay consistent, and have the right support behind you.

If you’re tired of starting over and ready to see real results, I’ve got you.

Message me “READY” and let’s make your transformation happen.

This is going to change EVERYTHING for you

đŸ‘‰đŸŒ First, do yourself a favor save this so you can use it.

Because I know how confusing this season can feel.

You were told breastfeeding would help the weight “just fall off.”

So when your clothes feel tighter, your cravings are wild, and the scale isn’t moving
 it feels personal.

Like maybe you’re doing something wrong.

You’re not.

Your body is feeding a human, running on broken sleep, and trying to protect your milk supply.

Of course it’s being a little clingy with fat stores.

So here’s what I wish every breastfeeding mum knew:

1. Eat a real breakfast within 90 minutes of waking.

Aim for 30 to 40 grams of protein plus fiber. Think eggs and cottage cheese with berries, or Greek yogurt with chia and fruits. This stabilises blood sugar and calms the all-day snack spiral.

2. Build lunch and dinner the same way.

Lead with fiber first, make sure protein is always there, and healthy fats, then save carbs for the end. This keeps energy steady and cravings way more manageable. Try eating your carbs throughout the day as you burn more calories and night time stay with lighter food options.

3. Stop living on cold coffee and crumbs

A handful of crackers is not a meal. It’s spikes your blood glucose and sets the stage for late in the day pantry raids.

4. Walk everyday, even if it’s broken up

Aim for 60 mins, then break it up as needed. Walking lowers stress hormones and support fat loss without draining you.

5. Lift weights 2 to 3 times a week.

20 mins is enough. These shorts sessions will rebuild muscle and support your metabolism far better than depleting HIIT sessions

6. Hydrate like it matters, because it does.

Keep a big water bottle by your feeding area and drink every time you feed. Breastfeeding raises your fluid needs, and dehydration can show up as hunger, cravings, and fatigue.

That’s the blueprint.

Now, if you’re reading this, thinking “wow, this is exactly what I need, I’m REALLY ready to lose the weight and feel amazing in my body”

The fact that breastfeeding makes you uncomfortable says WAY more about you than it does about the mother doing it.

You’re completely comfortable seeing women in bikinis with their tits out. You’re comfortable with women posting thirst traps, selling sexual content and having their bodies sexualised all over the internet.
But a mother puts her breast in her HUNGRY BABY’S MOUTH and suddenly that’s where you draw the line?

Seriously?

So when people casually talk about breastfeeding as though it’s embarrassing, sexual or uncomfortable to look at, it genuinely makes me angry.

What exactly is uncomfortable about a mother feeding her hungry baby?
Maybe the problem isn’t breastfeeding.
Maybe it’s the fact we’ve been taught to see women’s breasts as sexual before we see them as what they also are: a way to nourish a baby.
You don’t have to breastfeed. But stop making mothers feel like they should hide when they do.
Breastfeeding isn’t inappropriate. Sexualising it is.

Some days I have the time.
Some days I really, really don’t 😂
Between an 8-month-old, running a house and building a business, life is BUSY.
I’ve had to stop thinking fitness has to look perfect to be worth doing.
A 20-minute workout still counts.
A walk still counts.
Doing what I can, when I can, still counts.
This season of life might look different, but that doesn’t mean I have to completely lose myself in it đŸ€

My postpartum body hates seeing me coming because this body will be better than before
not chasing perfection just trying to stay consistent

The body that carried my baby, grew him, birthed him and is still nourishing him 8 months later.

It’s changed. I’ve changed. And I’m still finding my way back to feeling like me again.

This transformation isn’t about rushing my body or trying to erase what pregnancy gave me. It’s about getting stronger, moving my body, looking after myself and slowly rebuilding the confidence I had before.

8 months postpartum and I’m proud of how far I’ve come. đŸ€

A reminder to every mum: you don’t need to “bounce back”. You’re allowed to take your time. Your body has done something incredible.

Postpartum weight loss is so much more than “eat less and move more.”

It’s doing your best on broken sleep.
It’s being starving from breastfeeding.
It’s trying to recognise your body again.
It’s finding the motivation to move when you’re exhausted.
And it’s learning that some days, just getting through the day is enough.

I spent years helping other mums feel strong and confident after having babies
and then I became a mum myself.

And suddenly, I realised knowing *what* to do and actually having the capacity to do it are two very different things.

I’m not trying to “bounce back.”
I’m not trying to be the woman I was before pregnancy.

I’m building a stronger version of me slowly, realistically, and without punishing myself along the way. đŸ€

So if you’re postpartum and wondering why it’s taking longer than you thought

You are not behind. You are not failing. And you definitely don’t need to rush your way back to yourself.

This is your reminder that progress still counts, even when it doesn’t look perfect. đŸ«¶đŸœ
