8 years ago I decided to try something new that scared me. Literally on jiu jitsu class #1 with Coach Stephanie at the @ufcgymtorrance I fell in love with the art. How could something move your body, your mind and your breath teaching you that there is always a way out.

Very little did I know that I’d need these principles applied in life more than once or twice within the course of those 8 years.

It isn’t just a “sport” it’s a way of living and a whole global community to become a part of, including your immediate family - your academy 🤍 for me @inspiritjiujitsuacademy lead by the some of the very best humans I know @rodrigofreitasbjj @michelefreitas_us

I’m posting so ya’ll hold me accountable to be more disciplined in training…lol mama is almost there, not to the end because there isn’t a finish line in jiu jitsu, but to reach a level I’ve always dreamed of, and the closer I get, the harder it gets.
