It is with deep sadness that I share that John has passed away peacefully.He left this world surrounded by love, without pain or suffering.John was the love of my life and always will be, my husband, my angel, my light, and a light in the lives of so many.The song playing with this photo is the one John asked his friends to listen to. Four months ago, as we were driving home from the hospital after one of his hospital stays, he made that request to me in the car.It was what he would want to say to everyone when he was gone: “keep me in your heart for a while.”Thank you for your love, prayers, and respect during this incredibly difficult time. by @thaisschirmer

Bon Jovi- Opening night of the Forever Tour at Madison Square Garden, New York, on July 7, 2026. ❤️ Back on stage Standing right beside the stage let me see a side of Jon Bon Jovi I had never seen before. From there, I wasn’t just watching a concert. I was watching the way he leaned down, looked people in the eyes, smiled, and made each person feel truly seen. That’s when I realized that true greatness isn’t about creating distance. It’s about making thousands of people feel like, even if it’s just for a moment, they truly matter.And somehow, in that moment, everything I had admired about him for so many years suddenly came together. His love for his family and the way he’s chosen to use his success to serve others alongside his wife through the @jbjsoulkitchen and @jbjsoulfoundation Standing just a few feet away from him, I realized none of it was an image. First of all… to whoever took the first photo in this carousel, the one with my hand reaching toward Jon… thank you from the bottom of my heart. (I randomly came across it on Instagram the day after the show, buried among countless posts, and I still don’t know who took it.) Segunda-feira com ressaca moral 🥴… Toda hora lembro que a Noruega não vai precisar remar de volta pra casa que era meu sonho até ontem 😂.Essa Copa apareceu no pior momento da minha vida, mas exatamente quando eu precisava de um motivo pra me reunir com as pessoas, receber os amigos em casa, conhecer pessoas novas, gargalhar até passar mal e encher o coração de esperança pro próximo jogo e o próximo jogo até que o barco virou mas a gente acabou se divertindo até com os donos do remo e por TUDO isso eu sou muito agradecida. Obrigada a vocês que fizeram esses dias (quase 1 mês) tão especiais! A gente não levou a taça mas a gente continua tendo a melhor comida, a melhor música, a torcida mais divertida e o português continua sendo o idioma mais bonito do mundo…afinal nascer BRASILEIRO já eh ganhar!!!💙💚💛 by @thaisschirmer

Not every minute of every day.But forever, I’ll be the person who saw his last breath and watched his heart stop 🥹💔Sometimes it still feels so unreal that I can’t fully believe this actually happened to me…And all the people waiting for me to “get over it”?You’re waiting for an ending that’s never coming.I will never get over this.I’ll heal, but I’ll never be the same person again.Yeah, I’ll carry this grief forever. Not like a life sentence… more like a love letter I keep writing… He lives in the songs that break me and in the memories that heal me. On the nights when his absence feels unbearable… and in the days when I swear I can still feel him everywhere.And maybe someday, somewhere in the middle of all this surviving I’ll realize I’m living again. In the end, it all comes down to this… I thought I had more time to love you.And maybe that’s what hurts the most. Grief shows up quietly, but it takes over everything. It’s like having a dozen broken ribs… no one can see it, but every breath hurts like hell.Still, there’s a kind of beauty in the pain that deserves to be honored. As messy as it is, it shows how real the love was, how deeply someone can impact your life… and at the same time, it proves that love doesn’t end with a heartbeat. It lives on, somehow.There are moments when, for a second, you’re here again. In the stories, in the laughter, in the tears. He loved being in our living room.Now he’s here, skiing the way he loved… Free and happy.But the truth is he never left.He’s in every thought, every memory, every moment of my day.He’s still present in a way that can’t be explained; only felt.Now I can look at him 🫶🏻It doesn’t take away the longing but it brings a kind of comfort.Maybe he can see this and know that my love for him goes beyond this life and always will.
