My Heart is Full, On this journey I’ve recognized the critical need for more Black physicians and particularly more doctors of color in dermatology, and I chose to pursue that path with purpose. From my very first day of medical school, I knew dermatology was where I belonged.From isolating myself from the world, to pulling all nighters, to dealing with the political side of medicine and healthcare, to wanting to throw the towel in, but I didn’t give up I found that grit. With gratitude for everything that shaped me along the way, I’m proud to officially introduce myself as Dr. M.Simon, M.D🩺🎓 by @thaleakj
