Been trying to rawdog life with everything I learned in therapy for the past two months. Been coping so well until can’t put it in the box anymore. 📦 THAMS crashed out 101

Wrote this journal letter to reflect with my life past two months before going back to my therapy session and realized vulnerability & honesty are my absolute power. I am not scared of showing this part of me. Prob bringing this into my therapy session.

Been not coping well but you will never know (I just realized in the middle of it as well)

I don’t have a lesson from this yet. I’m still inside it. by @thamsification

What in my head lately is such a funny place.

Don’t you have a thing that keeps you in a running loop in your brain?
How to make it disappear?
Or do you ever want it to disappear? ❣️ by @thamsification

I am a lover boy
I speak in flowers
when words feel too small 🤍

I asked my loves what’s their favorite color and I made a bouquet for them 💐 by @thamsification

A note from one loverboy — to other lovers of life 🤍
What I wrote on my journal from my road trip, now I’m back and just have time to share this.

I came here eight months too late to run away from heartbreak.
I think I came exactly on time to notice I was happy again.

I spent so much of my adult life thinking love was something that happened between me and another person. Now I’m realizing that love might actually be the way I participate in my own life.

I think when something traumatic happens, sometimes you have to teach your body and your nervous system new experiences. Not just how to calm down, but actual new experiences. To step outside of your own narrative. To stop letting your own mind make you feel like you are still trapped in the same story.

And I think that is what this trip did for me.

The moment I realized I was happy was when I noticed I wasn’t afraid to show my excitement or my joy anymore. When I put my head out of the water and I could feel how small I was in such a big world. And suddenly my problems didn’t feel bigger than me anymore.

I think being a lover boy has very little to do with having a lover.

I used to think romance only counted when I was in love with someone.

Now I think romance is just what happens when I’m paying attention to my life.

But I don’t think I would have realized any of this if I didn’t take myself outside of my own routine.

Sometimes you need new places, new people, new sensations, new memories. Not because you are running away from yourself, but because you need to remind yourself that your life is bigger than the story you have been stuck inside.

And maybe that is where love begins for me now. Within me, and then everywhere else. <3

I have been reading book “All The Way To River” by Elizabeth Gilbert thru out the trip and it was the right book i chose. I would like to share to you again once I finish and breathe thru. I am so grateful that my therapist recommended to me and my friend gave me the physical book before I travel ❤️‍🩹 by @thamsification

27!!!!!!!!!!

I lived a thousand lives.

None of them were fully mine.

A lover.
A partner.
A caretaker.
A child.
A bride.
A divorcée.
A parent.
A daughter.
A man, not yet.

I kept becoming

what life asked of me,
what love asked of me,
what survival asked of me.

No decision
was ever made
just for me.

I spent years
trying to become whole
with another.

Measuring my love
against another’s fear.

Adjusting myself
to fit
someone else’s
cup of tea.

What a time
to finally know
who I am.

Outside of expectation.

Outside of devotion.

Outside of the life
I thought
I was meant to live.

I live the way I want.

I love the way I want.

I feel the way I want.

No need to rush.

No need to prove
how much love
there was
in the room.

I am complex.

Fiery red.

Leo Venus.

Full of passion.

Neither black
nor white.

I can love fully.

Feel everything.

Fearless
of vulnerability.

My own sense of self.

My own people.

A home
I’ve chosen.

My own dog.

My own thoughts.

And this,

for the first time,

is finally MINE!!! by @thamsification

YES It is THAT SERIOUS🙂‍↕️ by @thamsification

I thought this poem was about sex.
While writing it, I realized it was about curiosity.

About discovering parts of myself I hadn’t put a map on yet.

After years of grief, gender dysphoria, survival, and trying to hold everything together, I forgot my body was still capable of surprising me.

For a moment, I remembered that there are still places within me left unexplored.

And maybe that’s what remained.

Ps. I feel so nervous posting things in English hahahahaha by @thamsification
