💛🌸🐦‍🔥.DayRave, Blazin, Shaitān Runnin 🌞.GraffForm-Lettering ‘KSC’ —~> For @katoombasurfclub / @rileysaxton + some Footage from a DaylightSaviour SurfDay at the local ConcreteBeach. 🔱.StoneCarving by Me @thanksstone ⚜️.Original KSC Tag by @tom_tattooer *(info on Tom’s TattooBusiness below). .Tom’s a True CraftsMan+ ❤️‍🔥.Haven’t really seen too much yet about attempting to LetterCarve the various intricate HandStyles of the many HighQuality LetterForms of the world of Graffiti into Stone; I think partly due to the difference between the 2x ArtCraftForms: .Each suited to their specific Task. .Each with Old Traditions. *(Grumble from The Manager’s Box)* + .Partly because some may have been caught one Day in the lapping of StoneShores & battling of PaintTides, understandable on both sides, Yet as Common as Paint Dries. = 🧐.So I’m going to Start to Carve Some StonePieces openly influenced by the Progressive LetterForms of a Lettering Culture spanning Earth & Language. … = .Therefor, Absolutely PERFECT for Training OneSelf, to Grow as a Carver, & therefor a Person; & that’s exactly what I shall do. 🎨.Also had some Fun doing my first GraffPiece on Saturday (Only took Me 36years haha)… 🙏.ThankYou to @pase184 for the 2x Spare Tins, & Tiket, & Riley, All The Homies, All the New Skaters enjoying such a positive Day of Skating & Art; GoodTimes all round. 🥰.Anyway —~> This Lettering = Says “KSC” @katoombasurfclub & is based-off the gorgeous HandStyles of my dear Friend & epic Tattooist: @tom_tattooer 🫵.AnyOne needs a perfect Tatt: Message Tommy at @tom_tattooer Or any of my other gorgeous Friends at Hazelbrook’s @ten_thousand_tigers .Tom’s lovely GirlFriend @tilly_tattooer works there, and does MindBlowing Work too. 🧡.Just Love my Pals so much. .The Older I get; The More i Cherish Each&EveryOne of You… .I got so, so Lucky to be able to Grow next to YouGuys, to witness y’All Blossom, Through yOur Highs & yOur Lows… Love You All so much Guys&Gyals. @katoombasurfclub #stonecarving #carving #masonry #graffiti streetartorwhatnot 🩵.K$Ç taken in Darug and Gundungurra Country by @thanksstone

🐉🍎🧘‍♂️.The Serpent of Eden .For God so Loved the World He sent his only Son. • Isaiah 14:12 (KJV) How art thou fallen from Heaven, O Lucifer, Son of the Morning! How art Thou cut down to the Ground, which didst weaken the Nations! • Revelation 22:16 (KJV) I, Jesus, have sent mine Angel to testify unto You these things in the Churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and Morning Star. 🍎 #stonecarving #stone #carving #carver #art #fineart #stonemason #handcarving #thegardenofeden #eden #apple #adam #eve #god #bible #sandstone #sandstonecarving #religion #religiousimagery #symbolism #chisels #serpent #snake #dragon #treeofknowledge #treeoflife #gemstones #sculpture #sculptor #ancient taken in The Garden of Eden by @thanksstone

🌺🤰🌏🌿✨ ‘Al Douniya Umm’ 💛.Al Douniya Umm aka in Arabic: “The World is our Mother” ~ Carved by @thanksstone ~ 👍 = COMMISSIONS for Artworks: Now OPEN. 👍 🤲.Hand-Chiselled Carving in Painted (blue) Sandstone; for my first Paid Commission, For a very very sweet kind-heated Lady named Allie B. ~ .She wants to (eventually) get some more Carvings, in Japanese Kanji, Hebrew, & Latin Scripts; Which would be loads of Fun. .I hadn’t ever had this much Fun with Scripts before trying to Carve some… 🔑.She appreciated a Saying her Lebanese Friend spoke: ~ “Al Douniya Umm” = The Workd is Our Mother.” & asked Me to paint some Sandstone Blue before Carving; Which isn’t Traditionally Done* but I really liked the Result. … *(I assume it normally isn’t done, Both because Stone is beautiful anyway, It can Show Chips extra-easily (Ok cos Piece is inside) + the Paint could Seal the Stone from Water* * (I therefore used WaterBased Ink). 🙏.ThankYou so, so much Allie, for the Opportunity to try out some Arabic Script, (& your Faith in Me to do a GoodJob for You); + ThankYou to my dear Friend @ilham.a.ismail for being my CopyWriter for ArabicScript/Translations, lol. *(Check Ilham’s Page for incredible Creatuve Fashion, She’s been shredding since She was a Bebbi) 🧥 taken in Darug and Gundungurra Country by @thanksstone

🌿🗿🌿.The Master’s Apprentices 🐲.Found the secretive little Bridge in Katoomba, due to my Friend telling Me of it, as I somehow lived in the BlueMts all these years, & yet never knew of it. It has beautiful Stone Carvings & Atmosphere. .Built in 1999 by Apprentice StoneMasons & Carpenters, & Designed by Robert Whittaker, with Phillip Mansley as the Engineer: - it would’ve been such a cool thing to be a part of. .Spied a GreenMan/Waratah Hybrid, a Head of Poseidon(?) or a RiverGod, and some nice Maker’s Marks / Initials of each Mason. .Went & Checked it out with my Dad, Was a nice Stroll through the Green. .If You find it, Respect it, Leave no Traces & pick up some Rubbish. .The GreenMan Watches. 🌿👀🌿 taken in Darug and Gundungurra Country by @thanksstone

🧡🌺🌾 .WĘŁCÕM£ 🪶 ~ .For Sale ~ DM for Interest or Commissions. —~> .Approx 72cm x 13cm x 4.5cm 🐿.Finished my first ever LetterCarving, Using my own Font that I’ve designed for it, as I wanted the Font itself to be quite Welcoming. —~> .All handCarved with a Hammer & Chisels. .Really enjoy Carving Letters, as You can sit down at the end of the Day and look at individual finished Letters; to see some of your finished handiwork, then begin another Letter. These Letter Shapes were quite challenging without some round Gouge Chisels, (still waiting for them to arrive from The U.K.), but I think I managed quite well. .I hope Everyone’s Souls are feeling Safe, The Body never will be, but our Souls are in our Care, and We must be Gentle to Them when We can. .Fly High, Friends .Isaac #stonecarving #stone #sandstone #limestone #carving #art #sculpture #sculptor #lettering #letters #welcome #welcomesign #sign #signwriting #writing #font #garden #housesign #sandstonecarving #limestonecarving #artist #bluemountainsartist #bluemountainsart #bluemts #craft #stonecraft #hammerandchisel #chisel #handcarving #thanks . taken in Darug and Gundungurra Country by @thanksstone

🍀☘️🍀.Sheela Na Gig no.1 .Or as @drystone_jackson named her: - “The Emma Na Gig”, As the Portrait is modelled off @stoneofarc / Emma; My dearly valued DryStoneWalling Teacher. .Respect your Teachers, Even more so if They’re a genuinely Skilled Kind Person. .This was the 2nd Carving I had Done after Emma believed in my Ability & Vision, the first being a Face for the opposing side of the DryStone-Arch.. This was the One where I felt I was getting somewhere with StoneCarving: Emma lent Me her Chisels, and Let Me just Design & Work the Stone. I had dreamt up the Emma Na Gig after a GuinessSoaked PubNight where Emma said She wanted one in her Wall at @stoneofarc - So my Brain started working towards this: Which was eventually Set into the Dry Stone Wall in the Concert Courtyard of @stoneofarc . Eternally Humbled & Grateful. Designed onto the Stone & with a solid 30hours spent Carving & Learning. This was the first Block of Stone that truely Taught Me how to Teach mySelf. .Much Love to my StoneWalling Friends, You’re All a Special Bunch of Humans. .Let Us Celebrate That. #stonecarving #stonecarver #stone #sandstone #carve #carving #sculpture #sandstonesculpture #art #artist #bluemountainsartist #wellingtonnsw #stoneofarc #irish #sculptureart #drystonewalling #sandstonecarving #rebirth #magic #sheelanagig #esoteric #entheogenicart #visionaryart #birth #psychedelicart #fractal #woman #drystone #circleoflife taken in Wiradjuri Country by @thanksstone
