Loved getting to style this project for Afterglow by @ketterermusic , @mattpeltmusic + @influencemusicworship . The music became the inspiration- warm, honest, timeless and a little undone. Every texture, layer and detail was intentional, helping visually tell the story the song was already carrying. And this one is extra special because my hubby Michael Barkulis helped write and produce it AND created the album cover. So proud of you, babe. One of my favorite parts of bringing a campaign to life is designing, styling + helping with the creative direction, taking the vision and translating it into every detail. From the designs, wardrobe and accessories to the location, color story and overall mood, this shoot was all about creating something that felt bold, effortless, feminine and unapologetically American.
