From beaches to global stages – my mission remains the same: to give the planet a voice.

I’ve shared stories and solutions at international summits, universities, and even the UK House of Lords – but what drives me is simple: inspiring action and creating change.

Every word spoken is an invitation to dream differently, act now, and care together. 🌱✨

This was my first keynote!! 🦄
And surprisingly… the first time I didn’t feel that heavy nervousness.

Maybe because I was speaking from the dedication and effort I’ve poured into making @planetcaretakers what it is today.
Maybe because I was finally in a world I’d long wanted to be part of: the Unicorn Factory.

I spoke about circularity, belonging, turning waste into art, and building movements that don’t wait for permission.

🌍 Here are a few statements I shared on stage:
– “I didn’t build a startup. I built belonging.”
– “Circularity isn’t just about materials, it’s about humans choosing to BE PART of the cycle.”
– “Purpose is the only pitch I ever had.”
– “We don’t scale projects. We scale purpose through people.”
– “I went to speak about circularity. I came back more whole.”

Um ano e meio depois, acho que posso oficializar, que esta vou ser eu, durante os próximos anos.

De suor no bigode, mas com um ano e meio de projecto a rolar; 17 equipas nacionais; quase 150 recolhas de lixo realizadas e mais umas tantas outras iniciativas; quase 18 toneladas de lixo recolhidas dos nossos ecossistemas; mais de 1000 voluntários nas nossas ações; parcerias incríveis para tão pouco tempo de projecto; milhares de sorrisos e agradecimentos; e muita, muita vontade de continuar neste caminho!

Obrigada a todos os envolvidos, que directa ou indirectamente, me ajudam a construir e a ter a @planetcaretakers no óptimo ponto em que está! ❤

Yes, this Fellowship can definitely be intense. Demanding. Exhausting, even..

And somehow, at the very same time, I find myself completely overwhelmed by how much I am receiving.

The beauty of the people. The connections. The locals who have welcomed me with such tenderness. The laughter. The unexpected moments. The places I’m discovering. The wonder of being somewhere so different from home and, somehow, finding pieces of home in it.

There is so much here that I could never have planned for.

And perhaps that is part of what this chapter is teaching me:
to stay deeply rooted in who I am, without becoming so rooted that I forget how to move with the wind.

I came here knowing there would be a lot to learn.
I’m not sure I understood how much there would be to feel.

And despite the exhaustion, I feel incredibly alive. 🤍

🇮🇳🌍 A spontaneous act of compassion. A historic first for Planet Caretakers India!

What started as a simple idea became the very first cleanup by Planet Caretakers India, in collaboration with the Satyarthi Movement for Global Compassion (SMGC). As a Satyarthi Fellow, I was happy to bring the spirit of compassionate leadership into action through this initiative.

At 7:15 AM, 15 people came together - local staff, SMGC team members, Satyarthi Fellows, and the Founder of Planet Caretakers - united by one simple purpose: to care for the environment we all share.

🌿 30 minutes. 15 people. 4 bags of trash collected.

But the story doesn’t end there.

The Fellows and the SMGC staff had conversations on how discarded trash could turn into creativity, awareness, and about our shared responsibility to protect the planet.

Because environmental action isn’t only about removing trash. It’s about cultivating awareness, strengthening connections, and inspiring a sense of belonging and responsibility toward all forms of life.

This is Compassionate Environment as a domain of action, not just a concept.

Because compassion shouldn’t stop at humanity.

We share this planet. We don’t own it. 🌍

A small action. A meaningful beginning. And hopefully, the first of many for Planet Caretakers India. 💚

My first solo cleanup in India came with a rather unexpected audience. Langurs 🐒🌿

A few curious monkeys watching a human clean up after other humans.

And I couldn’t help but wonder… are they waiting for us to finally understand that compassion must extend beyond our own species?

Perhaps it’s time we made space for a Compassionate Environment as a domain of action, not just a concept.

Because compassion shouldn’t stop at humanity.

We share this planet. We don’t own it. 🌍
