Omari Neville is the next generation of Nevilles out here making devastating music. His band, The Fuel, are all serious freaking players. I mean, these cats can all go! These are from this year’s Black & Loud. Seattle, can we talk, why do people not get down with what is a freakin’ blazer of a show? by @that_guy_murphy

I really appreciate who Iniko is as an artist and have respect for how they are 100% living by their values. I simultaneously felt comfortable with them and nervous as hell. That’s a person with a presence!

Iniko is a presence! The room not only went to church, they had their mind’s eye opened wide. If you have never seen forceful joy… Their whole energy is “we’re bringing the light, if ya don’t like it, get sunglasses.” The band.. the DJ… 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

Six Degrees of Seattle:
.
You know how, in a city Seattle’s size, you sometimes see the same strangers occasionally? I’m sure there’s somebody who refers to me as “The Weirdo in the Hat”.
.
Photographer Roger Benson shared some of the gorgeous work he did at Fremont Friday. I recognized some people that I photographed last week! “Oh hey! I took a photo of this couple at Black & Loud!” Ha! Thanks kinda funny.
.

The next photo was another familiar stranger. Hours earlier, this fashion plate and I were miming appreciations for each other’s fits across a loud and crowded sidewalk. Ha! Two “familiar strangers” in two back-to-back picts.

Ok, stop.

They’re friends!?!?

That’s amazing. How perfect! by @that_guy_murphy

Dude. Punk ain’t dead. I swear, it was Matt & Giles all over again. They’re called Toxic Tears, righteous, angry, and loud af. Three chords and a scream. They totally caught me off guard. But if you like punkity rock, go see ‘em!
