It's not quick or flashy, or loud like instagram favors.

I share Theo's reactions as well, because i'd like to avoid building an image of a perfect life on my page if possible, but this is your reminder, that if our training did go perfectly every time, it'd probably look like this.

There's no barking, or lunging involved. No amazing progress in the span of 2 minutes (the actual duration of this little training session).

It's quiet, it's boring, it's slow, and that's the whole point of it.

A genius way to use the 1, 2, 3 game our trainer taught me recently 🤯

Gotta love his enthusiastic face

Felt cool, might cringe at myself later 🤪

Anyyywayyy we're close to home with rebounds! I know I've said this like 3 weeks ago already, but this time for real.

We've finally started adding the verbal cues, and control before the jump, so that Theo doesn't randomly decide to jump on me before he's supposed to lol.

I'm removing the target in separate lessons, cause i don't want to mix two new things in one lesson - the cue and doing this without the target.

As you can see in the video I'm now practically standing up. Theo's technique isn't quite perfect yet. He definitely loses his footing, but I'll try asking our trainer about that.

The progress is slow, because I'm trying to only train rebounds really sparsely (this month Theo is going to get his shots, so I'm mentally preparing myself to finally book an appointment for his X-rays when we're at the vet, and then I'll finally have a piece of mind, fingers crossed🤞)

And also it was super rainy lately, and the ground was wet and slippery, and we don't do such demanding tricks on slippery surface!

Fun training session with an unplanned distraction.

This session was pretty good, because i managed not to throw any treats too close to the treat bowl, and so Theo didn't make any mistakes because of me. I honestly didn't plan to have a distraction in the form of that barking dog, but at least we now have some experience working on this exercise in a different environment with different distractions.
