POSTS STORIES REELS

On Sept 27, 2025 Matt and I were married in front of the most beautiful glacial lagoon. We woke up early that morning and scouted out locations. Our photographer met us that afternoon after a 5+ hour drive from Reykjavík and directed us to a quiet side spot most tourists didn’t know about.
After we said our vows (that Matt wrote and were beautiful) we explored the other side of the lagoon, then walked down to the black sand beach where the ice chunks all washed up. It’s appropriately named Diamond Beach because the ice looks exactly like diamonds scattered on the beach. The sand is black because it’s literally ground up lava. Honestly, these were the most magical locations I’ve ever been.
Our final stop was just a pull off on the side of the road with a massive mountain range spotted with waterfalls. Iceland is one of the most amazing landscapes because each way you turn can be an entirely different view. This stop was maybe a 3 minute drive from where the glacial lagoon was. I love these photos because the sun was not a harsh and we were more relaxed by this point. I think all the photos came out stunning but one of the final mountain ones might end up on my wall.
Thank you for all the well wishes. And a special thanks to TJ for getting ordained with the church of the internets so he could perform our ceremony. And Bridget for changing my shoes 18x so I could walk between locations. by @thatblondelender

Happy Halloween from the Matek team! 🎃

Ever wonder what we'd be doing if we weren't in mortgages? We asked the team, and let's just say we got some interesting answers. A clown, an astronaut, and a few surprises later, we brought their dream jobs to life (with a little AI magic).

Drop a comment and tell us what would you be?

Food and Wine Festival at Epcot! Have you been? What was your favorite food this year? by @thatblondelender

Office on fire and you have 5 seconds. Drop a comment and tell us what would you save? 👀

Our team said laptops, plants, snacks… and three different people said Andy. 😂❤️

We’re not saying Andy’s a favorite, but… 👀

What a FUN day at the pumpkin patch! 🎃🍂

Thank you to everyone who came out and spent part of your day with us! We loved seeing all the families, smiling faces, and little ones running around hunting for houses! 🏡

A HUGE thank you to our amazing sponsors who helped make this event possible and to Encounter Christian Church for hosting us!

We love getting to bring our community together for a little fall fun. Days like this are such a sweet reminder of what makes this community so special! 🤎

The patch is still open daily until Halloween! If you haven’t gotten your pumpkins yet- stop by and check them out!

We asked the team some very important questions. Who would you trust to babysit your kids? Who's bailing you out? Everyone had to pick a side: Greg or Andy. The results were not close. Or were they? Team series, episode 1. by @thatblondelender

🌭 Joey Fatone, we’re coming for those hot dogs! 😂

The kids and I checked out Fat One’s Hot Dogs & Italian Ice at Universal CityWalk, and somehow we left WITHOUT trying a single hot dog. 🤦🏼‍♀️ What kind of food review is that?!

So naturally, I need YOUR help deciding what we’re ordering next time!

Here’s what’s on the menu:

🌭 The Fat One – A footlong loaded with roasted pork, pepperoni, chili beans, cheddar cheese sauce, red onion sauce and fries.

🇧🇷 The Brazilian – Grilled linguica sausage, onion sauce, jalapeño mayo, Cotija cheese, honey, peppers, cilantro and potato sticks.

🇬🇷 The Angelo – Tzatziki, tomatoes, red onion, olive tapenade, feta and fresh dill.

🇰🇷 Dirty K-Pop Dog – Kimchi slaw, spicy gochujang mayo, scallions, crispy onions and black sesame.

🗽 To-NY – Sauerkraut, red onion sauce and signature mustard.

🔥 El Fonsi – Ham, turkey, Swiss cheese, sofrito, onion jam, mayo-ketchup and potato sticks.

🥒 The Cubano – Ham, roasted pork, Swiss cheese, mustard and dill pickles.

🍕 Johnny’s Pizza – Tomato sauce, melted mozzarella, pepperoni and Parmesan-parsley butter.

🌱 The Vegan – A vegan hot dog with red onion sauce, signature mustard and relish.

Okay, hot dog experts… WHICH ONE SHOULD WE TRY FIRST?! 👇

And if you’ve already been, tell me which one is worth the hype! Bonus points if you can convince my kids to try something adventurous. 😂

Weezer out here bringing generations together! by @thatblondelender

Halloween is my FAVORITE holiday, so naturally… I have a costume history. 🎃👻

A little trip down memory lane featuring some of my Halloween looks over the years — some questionable, some iconic, and some that definitely required more effort than I care to admit. 😂

But I saved the best for last. 🏆🎃

Which one is your favorite? And be honest… which one should NEVER see the light of day again? 😂

Happy Halloween season, friends! 🖤 by @thatblondelender
