Growth they say is inevitable and we all have to experience it. The key part is trying your best to shape how it goes.

I know of a boy with whom I am writing his story. A boy who strongly believes he has a couple pages in the history books of the greats. Beyond words and grandeur, beyond pictures and glamour, he wants to be remembered in the hearts of every person he comes across and every live he interacts with. He decided his story will be that of dreams coming to life, rewriting narratives and showing possibilities, a story where life is lived with so much love and happiness, where he touched lives across borders, where he Carries on a legacy of excellence and the will to do more and be more.

The future boasts of uncertainty but that really is what makes the journey worthwhile. Step by step, day by day, win by win, loss by loss, grace by grace, success by success, he writes his story. The story of the spoon. Many know of the silver spoon but this, is the GOLDSPOON.

Life keeps teaching you things in different ways. You learn new systems, new methods new patterns and so much more. If you thought it was meant to be a specific way, life can decide to show you it’s another way entirely. I am saying all these to attach it to my main message which is not to be rigid with how we plan to achieve our goals.

Be flexible, be open to corrections, be open to adopting new methods, be open to treading new terrains because it really isn’t black and white. The journey is not as straightforward as it might look as you write down in your journal. You will meet new people, you will acquire more knowledge and you will see more means to get to your destination. So, don’t let your rigidity be your own obstacle, don’t let you stop you from becoming.

I have always been particular about nation building, contributing to Nigeria, making systems work and making the lives of people better and one of the major means I had planned out was through actual governance and state and nationwide leadership( I still plan to). Winning elections and getting things done but then as I learnt more down the years, I realized how important building and scaling a business is, in improving the lives of Nigerians. I saw the effects that entrepreneurship and businesses had in the lives of people and I knew my path was definitely going to be altered. I have always had the vision of owning enterprises but I finally found a why for it beyond the profits. I am saying this because my thoughts and plans have been altered but my end goal would still be achieved and I will be very much fulfilled.

It’s been a while I’ve shared anything here and I hope you’ve all been good. I felt the urge to share this here today and I just did. It won’t be an easy journey. Life is full of risk and as Jim Rohn once highlighted, life is so risky that you won’t even get out alive. So, take that risk, adopt the new method, be flexible with your plans and make the best of every moment of your life. I wish you the very best.

The Break I needed.
Towel around my waist, toothbrush in my mouth, my reflection in the mirror. The thoughts in my head; I’m finally heading out, what should I expect? How do I introduce the many things I am?…… Then I remembered when the initial vision of foundry was shared with me. The reason why builders and dreamers gather in a room where they can be themselves and share their thoughts without worry of the next person getting it wrong or not matching their wavelength. That was when I knew I was going to have a nice day. Since there was no need to select the version of me that will be heading out, I headed out as FUAD OLADIPUPO HASSAN.

I Didn’t know my way around the venue, so I called a friend to direct me to the wrong venue and he did😅( @oshikoyadolapo thank you so much🥲). I finally found my way and proceeded to have a great day. I entered that room with the intention of being myself and to immerse in everything that will unfold and I had the best reset boost I could ever ask for. Thank you @thefoundry.hq

Before Foundry 3.0, I’ve had some slow moments that I had to take my time to navigate. Attending the foundry was the last step I needed to take to get back to seeing the colors in the path I am treading. I met so many amazing individuals who were lovely and inspiring. They reminded me that I wasn’t alone on this journey and that it’s okay to have slow days and to get back up to life.

To my Friends, the founders of @thefoundry.hq , @moh.sheriff and @aladesulubukola ,Thank you. My hugs already did the rest of the explanation. To the super cool foundry core team @joel_ooreofe (my guyyyy) and @erhuvwuoghene_ ( my fave). Thank you and God bless you all.

Wow. I’ve written a lot. To all the foundry cool people, it was nice meeting you all. 🫂

It’s midnight but I just had to say this.

Dear you, breathe.
While you shouldn’t wallow in your bad days and drag them out for too long. Remember you’re human. Mistakes exist for a reason. It’s fine to not always get it all right. Stop beating yourself up. Accept your mistakes, take responsibility and get things moving.

You are human and you’re allowed to be.
God bless you.

Big Ups to @joel_ooreofe for the carousel template from way back💯🫂 by @thatboyfrombadagri

Once upon a time, there was a young boy from a village who made friends with a wise tortoise. On a fateful day, as they were catching up in the forest. The tortoise moved closer and he asked the boy ‘What is …….

The tale can come some other day. I really want to tell the world and myself not to play small. I was telling someone very important to me that I need to start going to conferences and gatherings again but this time with precision as compared to when I started out. When I started this journey, I was everywhere and anywhere I could learn a thing or two so I listened and listened. Then it all started sounding the same and repetitive so I took a step back. Then there is that phase of getting too comfortable that I had to spring back up real quick and get on things.

Now, I want that stimulation. I need to be in rooms where they discuss things that an average person will think are bigger than me. I want to sit at tables with brilliant young minds who are breaking boundaries. I want to learn from the successes and failures of many others. I want to be geared up. Then I want to get back to work.

So yeah, that's what I have to say. Thank you for stopping by. Oh yeah, invite me to highly cerebral, high-conversion, and life-changing gatherings. My email is up there.

Thank you.

I am currently on my bed, trying to get a good rest but I picked up my phone to make this post. I had the blessing of finishing my surgery rotation relatively early today and I am grateful to God🤲😅. So I decided to share some life updates here and maybe a lesson.

Lately, I have had to commit more time to being a student as apprenticeship and practice are a part of my training. And it has been a good ride so far, albeit stressful and highly demanding. This in turn makes it somewhat difficult to do the many other things that I also love to do but I am really not perturbed. This is currently the topmost thing on my priority list for this period and it just makes sense. This brings me to the response I give people whenever I’m asked about how I get to do all the things I do. Still finding a great way to name it but it is in the space of ‘Timed Priority or something something priority 😅…. We would talk about that some other time.

One thing that I’ve learnt in the course of the past 2-3 weeks or should I say one thing that I know but have been reinforced is that:

‘Whatever you put into it, you get from it’

Do with this information, whatever you want😂

Anyway, tell me something you’ve learnt in the past few weeks. What have you learnt or what beliefs of yours have been reinforced?

TELL ME IN THE COMMENT SECTION 👇
