You’ve set the bar entirely too high for me. So much so, I’m lowkey mad that I’m your son. 😂😂. I can’t believe you’re 60 now!

I always felt that you were special when I was a kid but, it got solidified after I reached adulthood. A couple of years ago, an old friend told me “when we were kids, I didn’t even know black people could own stuff until I met your dad.” TBH, growing up, I thought that was a normal thing…

Your GOAT status really hit me when I kept running into random people that know who you are, or have dealt with you or even just crossed your path. Everyone loves and respects you. I love hearing the praise that you receive!

In my book, you are the foundation of my story line and there’s no denying that. But pops, you obviously have your own storyline and I’m just happy to be a small part of it. You’ve been a living legend, your accomplishments already echo in eternity.

If you know my pops…I’m sure he’s helped you, looked out for you, gave solid advice or even just inspired you by his presence. His influence is immeasurable. Ughhhh. Baby girl, baby girl…so, you are 2 now and I’m still getting over the fact that I have a daughter. It just drives me crazy when you stroll into the room. I literally do anything you ask of me and I know for a fact that you know that 😩. You win, it’s your world. I’m still wrapped around your finger and I still get nervous when I see you because I already know I’ll do whatever for you, just to see that smile of yours. From the endless river that I’ve cried for you to the unconditional love I have for you….you’re in first place. Whatever you want, whatever you need, it’s yours. I love you.
