It is ignorance to think that ministry is confined to the four walls of a church.

We often hear “ministry” and immediately think of pastors, preachers and church activities.

But ministry is bigger than the pulpit.

Have you heard of the Seven Pillars of Influence?

Family. Education. Government. Media. Arts & Entertainment. Religion. Business.

God can plant you in any of these spheres and make it your ministry ground.

A Christian in business doesn't have to become a pastor before their work can glorify God.

A Christian in medicine, technology, education, agriculture, entertainment or government doesn't have to leave their field to serve God's purposes.

Your profession can be your platform.
Your workplace can be your mission field.
Your influence can be your ministry.

The question isn't only, “What ministry has God called me to?”

Sometimes, it's:

“Where has God planted me, and how can I represent Him there?”

The pulpit is a ministry ground.

But it isn't the only one.

One conversation on campus changed how I think about personal branding.

There was a day I took my snacks to school as usual.

I was neatly dressed, had my products in my usual bag, and was just walking around.

A guy stopped me.

"Bro, what do you sell?"

"I sell crunchy snacks," I replied.

He looked at me for a few seconds and smiled.

"From the way you're dressed and the way you speak, I already know this product isn't just any kind of product. I can even tell it won't be the regular price." 😂

I just smiled.

Whether he eventually bought the snacks isn't even the point.

What stayed with me was this:

He hadn't tasted the product. He hadn't even seen the packaging.

Yet, he had already formed an opinion about its quality based on how I presented myself.

That moment reminded me that people often experience you before they experience what you have to offer.

Whether you're selling a product, offering a service, or simply introducing yourself, how you show up influences how people perceive your value.

Your appearance won't replace quality, but it can open the door for people to give your quality a chance.

That quote made me pause.

It made me realize that many of us have unknowingly fallen into what I call the happiness paradox.

We know the little things that genuinely make us happy, yet we keep putting them off because we tell ourselves, "I'll enjoy them after I achieve this next goal."

So we keep chasing.

We become "busy."

But somewhere along the line, we forget that being busy isn't the same as being productive.

You can be productive and still make room for joy.

There are little moments we often overlook because our eyes are fixed on the finish line..a meaningful conversation, a beautiful morning, learning something new, a good laugh, or simply taking a moment to appreciate how far we've come.

Don't wait until you've "made it" before you allow yourself to be happy.

Keep chasing your goals, but don't postpone your life in the process.

Sometimes, the happiness you're looking for isn't waiting at the destination.

It's hidden in the moments you've been too busy to notice.

Every time I get a "My Daily Workout" notification from my workout app, my brain asks one question: "Charles... who sent you?" 😂

And honestly, for a few seconds, I ask myself the same question. 😭

But every time, I remind myself of something.

As I build TRI'C Foods, I'm intentional about building myself too. My business and my life will only flourish to the level of my personal growth.

One thing I'm learning is that growth isn't one-dimensional.

It's easy to focus on one area of life while neglecting the others. But I'm learning to grow intentionally—spiritually, mentally, physically, and as a builder.

As I develop my communication skills, build TRI'C Foods, and deepen my walk with God, I'm also taking my physical health seriously.

Because the vision I'm praying for deserves a mind that keeps learning, a spirit that keeps growing, and a body that can sustain the journey.

So... I stay.

Still building TRI'C Foods. 🌱

Still building the builder. 💪🏽

Maybe we've mistaken longevity for growth.

I found myself thinking about this today...

It's interesting how, when people feel insecure about their current growth, they often fall back on seniority.
"I entered the university before you."
"I've been here longer than you."
"I started before you."
But since when did longevity become the same as growth?

Time doesn't automatically produce growth. Intentionality does.
Someone who is committed to growing can achieve in one year what another person may not achieve in ten—not because they had more time, but because they used their time differently.

A reminder to myself:
Don't measure your journey by how long you've been around. Measure it by how much you've grown.

Visited home for a short break, and these were planted the last time I came home. A few months later, they're already up for harvest.😋

This is one of the things that will always fascinate me about agriculture.

You plant something today, nurture it, and before you know it, you're harvesting from it. There's something beautiful about watching growth happen.

With just a piece of land, you can grow food, feed people, and even create income.😌

As a growing agropreneur, moments like this remind me why I'm drawn to this path.☺🤲

You call it local.
I call it global. 🌱🤝

My first agriculture post... and definitely not the last.🤲🌾
