As a culinary content creator, everybody always says, “Get the content.” 📸🎥

But what about when the content is getting YOU?! 😂

My phone AND camera died right in the middle of me getting my ravioli on. Homemade, might I add. 😮‍💨🍝

But you know what? I kept going.

Because sometimes you have to remember why you started cooking in the first place. Not every moment needs to be captured. Not every dish needs a full production.

Although I only got the final result and not the process… I kept going.

The food still deserved to be viewed 👨🏾‍🍳 by @thatchefdev

One of my goals as a chef is to leave little pieces of DMV culture everywhere I go. ❤️🦀

The DMV will always be home, no matter where life takes me. It’s in me, not on me lol.

Today, I’m sharing something unique that still brings that DMV flavor and feeling to the plate. 👀

I’ll be hosting a few dinner parties here in Charlotte this year, and trust me… this one is definitely making the appetizer lineup. 🔥

Stay on the lookout. More good food, culture, and DMV love coming soon.

Southern comfort, but we’re doing it DIFFERENT. 👀🔥

Oven-baked “fried” chicken 🍗 + creamy queso quinoa 🧀 + stir-fry veggies 🥦🌶️

Healthy doesn’t have to mean boring, bland, or flavorless. It’s all about how you build the plate. 😮‍💨

Would you try this Southern comfort fusion? 👇🏾

Being plant based changed the way I view culinary. I wouldn’t be the chef I am today without that being a part of my journey and story. Although I’m no longer vegan , preparing it is like riding a bike. You simply just don’t forget how to when it was once your lifestyle.

In Charlotte and looking for meal prep or private chef services ? I’m your guy ! Follow me over @ thatchefdev for more details.
