September 26th, I was blessed to sit through 3 panel discussions by @landstudio PRISM: Seeing beyond Mass incarceration. Truly honorable mention to @garytylerstudio for telling his story that touched my heart. Also being able to witness beautiful art by our local artists and hearing the inspiration behind it. Ending off @marshallproj opened my eyes with new information. This was a beautiful experience overall by @thatchicksphotography

It was a pleasure working with Ms. Lauren Welch, making her vision come alive for her upcoming campaign running as Democrat Candidate for Ohio State Representative, House district 20. A simple candid conversation at FutureLand turned into learning about Ms. Welch’s on going goal to paving a way for young black girls and a role model for young adult women. Also bringing opportunities to others through her legacy making all things possible with her line of work around Cleveland by @thatchicksphotography

Jan 2nd I was called to take press conference photos for our community CALL TO ACTION to address the gun violence that has taken innocent lives whether that’s by gang affiliation or senseless acts in our establishments without a thought behind of how this does not only affect the lives taken away, but the families, and the community as a whole. How can we do better, which calls to question, is it our environment, the music we listen to, or unhealed trauma passed down from generations? Who or what is actually responsible. The press conference touched on all of these questions at hand, and the questions by our audience with deep concern. If you could be an activist in the community to contribute, what would you do? by @thatchicksphotography
