📍 @elpuntovegano - First time tying Mofongo 🌹 vegan style with Portobello Mushroom. The experience and food was 10/10, absolutely beautiful!

Mofongo is a Puerto Rican dish traditionally made with mashed fried green plantains, fresh garlic, olive oil, and chicharron (pork cracklings). But luckily I found this vegan gem of a restaurant to stop at, so I was able to experience the cuisine of the culture 😍.

I also had the Cheesy Garlic Bread, which had me needing to control myself 😅. I had to chill because it was just the appetizer! The house salad… was ALSO delicious. It had a tasty dressing and I’m assuming like a seasoned tofu crumble 😍.

If you plan to visit Cataño, or San Juan, @elpuntovegano needs to be on your list, whether you’re vegan or not 🔥.

In the last picture I started getting embarrassed because the camera shutter noise! It was set to take 10 pictures 😭. I’m still getting used to just grabbing the tripod myself! I’m also getting used to taking pictures and recording myself in public. I’m so awkward, and so used to my own comfort zone. Okayyy, Day 55 of my Sertraline/healing journey was LIT cause I took a road trip 🤣… to Austin, Texas. I just needed a change of scenery so I spent a night at the @renaissance_atx and it was wonderful ✨

I also went to @communitykitchentaproom for some good vegan comfort food and it was hittin… ESPECIALLY those greens 😋🔥

Did a little juicing this day 🥹💕… well a lot with this big ass watermelon. I’m slowly getting back into some of the things I love and taking care of myself, but the experiences are still very much flattened. Cheers to day 50 of Sertraline though.
