Decided to convert my friend into a runner. 😂🏃🏽‍♂️

Man said he didn’t want to continue because he felt like throwing up. 😭

But @thecreativezik likes joking, so we’re going again tomorrow. 😌

We’ll run almost every day until he falls in love with running, even after I leave. 🤭😂

Saturday mornings have become one of my favorite parts of the week.

Some runs are fast.
Some are slow.
Some feel easy.
Some make you question why you started.

I almost talked myself out of this run last night!
I’m glad I didn’t.

10.01 km later, I feel lighter.
Not just physically, mentally too.

Running has become more than exercise for me.
It’s one of the few places where my mind goes quiet.

Funny how the days you least want to run are usually the ones you need it most.

Maybe I’ll keep showing up.

Introducing “The Black Sheep.”

Inspired by the iconic black sheep image by @jonaspeterson_ai and the movement from STORM II by GENER8ION & Yung Lean.

I’ve had this idea in my head for a while, and I finally brought it to life using AI. I wasn’t trying to recreate the original pieces. I just wanted to blend two visuals I admire into something that tells its own story.

This morning I was exhausted.

I woke up late.
My legs were still sore after yesterday’s run in Crocs.

I almost skipped it.

But I got up anyway and took it slow.

5K done.

Funny enough, I felt so much better by the time I finished.

10KM. I actually did it. 🥹

A few weeks ago, I never imagined I’d be here.

I started running this August at a time when I was dealing with some health challenges and trying to find my way through a lot of things emotionally.

Running became a way for me to clear my head, take care of myself, and keep moving forward.

And somehow, it brought me here. My first 10K. My first race. My first medal.

Running has a funny way of connecting people. Different stories, different reasons, same road.

I’m grateful I started. I’m even more grateful I didn’t give up.

I don’t know where this journey will take me yet, but I hope it leads to something beautiful.

For now, I’ll keep running. 🏃🏽‍♂️

I showed up for myself in a way I never expected.

I started running this August to take better care of my health, and somehow, I found myself at the Enugu City Marathon running my first 10K.

My first race. My first 10K. My first medal. 🥹

There were so many moments I thought I’d stop, but I kept pushing.

I’m glad I showed up. I’m glad I kept going.

Here’s to making running a part of my life for the long run. 🏃🏽‍♂️
