We love a project that requires building something from scratch. This March Madness activation started as an empty corporate office and became a fully branded arena. Concept and creative direction by us, brought to life with an incredible vendor team.

A wedding day at the newly restored, iconic, Hotel del Coronado 🥂 The ceremony on the beach, cocktails by the water, and a candlelit dinner inside- layered with sage green, lavender, cream, and warm wood and rattan accents. Coastal, elegant, and so beautifully done 🌊

Peyton + Xi were married at the iconic Hotel Del Coronado just outside of San Diego. The venue has has been host to many a Hollywood star and the backdrop to some classic movies, so it was only fitting that I made the couple a teaser film that felt like a piece of classic cinema.

The film combines their intimate tea ceremony, which took place at their beautiful home in the San Diego hills, as well as the wedding day at the hotel, with a heartfelt ceremony on the beach followed by fireworks and partying.

The wedding couldn’t have happened without some talented suppliers:

✨ Living for those special moments when we gather around the table.

As we plan our own holiday tablescape, we’re reminiscing about our favorite moments from past dinners with family and friends. While we love all the beautiful decor, the best centerpieces have always been the laughs, stories, and memories we’ve shared around the table.

Here's to creating beautiful memories with our loved ones. May your tables and homes be graced with warmth, shared stories, and endless laughter this holiday season.

Welcome to Paradise 🏝️🌺 Trading San Diego’s sweater weather for the warmth and beauty of Maui. Where tropical allure meets oceanfront serenity, this beachside reception setup, adorned in bamboo elegance and lush greenery, was the epitome of Maui magic.

After watching this couple’s love story flourish over the years, it was an honor to be part of their wedding day among many shared friends and family. Thank you R+J for trusting us with your incredible celebration; we can't wait to see your family continue to grow!

Set the table, light the candles, and cue the romance. 🕯️ Delicate baby's breath, lush greenery, and blushing blooms weave an intensely textural tale from above, while below, the table is a symphony of elegance and attention to detail. Embrace the extravagance and get lost in the layers. It's not just a table setting; it’s an experience!

Stepping into their forever. ♾️ This ceremony was set amidst the gentle whispers of the Pacific at the stunning Alila Marea Beach Resort. Under a canopy of blooms as full and as vibrant as their love story, the couple exchanged vows, each one resonating with the rhythm of the waves. 🌊

At Thater Made, we’re more than just a planning and design company; we make dreams come true one step at a time.

Let the Madness BEGIN! 🏀 #MarchMadness

They say you miss 100% of the shots you never take. Well, last week we took em’ all and created a college basketball lovers dream lounge to watch the games in. #SlamDunk

Giving back was a must for our client so we started by designing an impactful overhead installation made from 200 basketballs - all of which will be donated to a local YMCA and youth-sports organization after the championship game. We also incorporated several basketball hoops throughout the space that will be part of the donation as well.

To keep track of the winning teams, we installed a massive bracket board with 64 individual magnetic plaques that can each be moved as teams progress.

Game-day inspired food and drinks, along with a court-side concession stand, made guests feel like they were at the game and ensured they never had to miss any of the action.

No one likes to fight over screen time when there are so many games going on at a time, so we had numerous TVs mounted to feature them all. A custom-built overhead Jumbotron showcased personalized ads and was the perfect addition to bring the entire design together.

Thank you to all of the creative partners who made this event possible -
