This morning at 5 a.m., I was woken up by my fire alarm — and my house was full of smoke.

That fire alarm that feels like it goes off every time I cook something… the one I have complained so many times. I am now incredibly grateful for that fire alarm that woke me up so I was able to get out safely 🙏

I had a kitchen fire, there was an electrical issue with my microwave that caused the fire.

A HUGE thank you to the Santa Rosa Fire Department for getting there so quickly and putting the fire out. I’m just so grateful things weren’t worse.

So please, check your fire alarms and make sure they’re working because you never know when you might need them 🙏🧑‍🚒❤️ that’s the reason I am sharing this post because I want all my friends to have pesky fire alarms that go off right away!

FYI whatever clothes or lack of them you choose to sleep, in case of an emergency is the outfit you will be running out of your house in 😎 by @thatggirl

Last night at Midtown Stomp we welcomed 916 Swing in the side room for West Coast Swing lessons and dancing! Two rooms of dancing is always fun. We had a crossover jam with Lindy and WCS and a great .. fusion (?!?) of the two. What a fun time. We'll see you on the dance floor! #sacramento #midtownstomp #lindyhop #swingdance #westcoastswing taken in Midtown Stomp by @thatggirl
