Just finished a Stormlord Super-Heavy tank to grace the top of my shelf. The rest of my #armageddon Steel Legion will probably make their migration up there with him shortly (current storage is too small) #warhammer #warhammer40k #warhammer40000 by @thatguardguy0110110

THE DUEL:
The Sergeant clambered up the brass rungs of the Derrick's ladder, ignorant or else ignoring the squawks and hoots of the Greenskins around. The creatures were crude, and too consumed in their feasts of victory to notice the lone, mustard-coated figure climbing up, a bundle of bombs dangling from his belt. Each rung, a thick film of grease smeared onto the Guardsman's once-pristine, brown gloves, dirtied by the fires of war. His boots slid against the holds to his feet, the thick and heavy grips cutting away clumps of dirt to reveal, albeit briefly, the shine of the metal underneath, before it was once more consumed by the billowing sands of Armageddon. The Guardsman was glad of the brown gas mask that clung to his face, an erstwhile companion, the recycled air within a far better alternative than the ashy gases without. Above were his goggles, a thick screen between the gas mask and his helmet, somewhat dirtied, and giving everything a far darker sheen in the blackness of night.
The Sergeant hoisted himself up, finally scaling the last rung. He let out a rattling sigh of relief, unhitching the carabiner from his belt and allowing the bombs to clang to the floor. A few pants escaped his mouth, the sound increasingly ominous through the filter of his mask. His hands rested on his knees, his eyes fixed down to the filthy brass plates that he stood on.
Suddenly, the pants were eclipsed by a new sound. Staggered, guttural laughs. Laughs that sounded like they could not have been made from a human throat.
The Sergeant looked up. A black figure loomed over him, on the other side of the derrick. It looked dull, and somewhat indecipherable in the black haze of his lenses, almost like it was seen from a dream.
Raising his goggles, the Sergeant strained his eyes to make out the image. It became clear almost immediately, a massive hunk of green meat of stupefying scale, seemingly chiselled from marble, but with a lattice of cuts covering his body, hinting at a lifetime of wars.

Painted a Promethium Derrick from Kill Team Octarius, in a similar colour scheme to my defence line in order to contrast with my Armageddon Steel Legion (who are going to inevitably retake it)

Wall of Martyrs defence line + an unflattering view of my corridor because there is nowhere else in my house large enough for a photo like this to take place. The second set of images shows the same defence line garrisoned by Maccabian Janissaries. #warhammer#warhammer40000#paintingwarhammer#imperialguard#wallofmartyrs#astramilitarum#warhammercommunity by @thatguardguy0110110

Sorry for having such a long absence from my socials. I was kind of busy with my A Levels and uni admissions (and then was out of the country for a while). But I'm back now, and I can assure you, an absolutely huge update is coming soon (http://twitch.tv/thatguardguy)

Astra Militarum Drop Troops. It's too late at night, I'll cross-post this to Twitter in the morning. These guys are a Command Squad from a custom regiment I kitbashed from Scion, Cadian and various other bits.

I finished the first stage of my #maccabianjanissaries#imperialguard#warhammer40k project. This is a part of an Ecclesiarchy Crusade force consisting of the Company Command of the Maccabian Janissaries, a Tank Commander of the Magladenian Chosen and Frateris Militia. #warhammer#paintingwarhammer#40k#astramilitarum by @thatguardguy0110110
