Love this miso caramel chocolate cake with matcha buttercream frosting for Sarah + Alex! Congrats you two!

Rhubarb pistachio galette 🩷💚🩷💚

This was my favorite pastry that I made for our brunch pop up at @papercakeshop: poached forced rhubarb, pistachio frangipan, rhubarb compote. I managed to have juuust enough rhubarb for three galettes while myself and the rest of Seattle’s chefs patiently wait for field rhubarb to ready. Pastry Chef Gabby Park’s (@thatgzb) yoka miso-chocolate cake at Paper Cake Shop (@papercakeshop) channels her love for collaboration. Built on a gluten-free chocolate sponge, the cake layers whipped milk chocolate ganache with a miso caramel made from Yoka Miso’s (@yokamiso) garbanzo miso (a nod to her friend and local producer, Anna Sugiyama). Fried and candied hazelnuts add texture and shine, while the interplay of salt, butter, and bittersweet chocolate keeps the richness in check. 💖🍵MATCHA RASPBERRY ICE CREAM CAKE🍵💖

It’s our first ice cream cake weekend of 2025!
Our friend @momismatcha will be popping up from 2-5pm today, so in honor of that we’re serving up a Matcha Raspberry ice cream cake 💖💚💖💚💖

-lemon sponge
-raspberry white chocolate crunch layer
-layered matcha and raspberry semifreddo
-raspberry crumble

Contains gluten, dairy, eggs, gelatin! Available Saturday and Sunday this weekend only!

We highly encourage you to enjoy the ice cream cake at the shop rather than taking it to go! Because they are layers of semifreddo, they are soft and ready to eat right from the freezer - no tempering required! Heyyyy come swing by @thepastryproject_ today 3-8pm for soft serve! I’ll be there for the first couple of hours helping out and trying not to be in the way lol 😅

The @papercakeshop sundae special tn will feature candied Froot Loops, Froot Loop cookie crumble, and BBL jam (lol, blackberry lychee)
