🚁Happy World Helicopter Day!

Big shout out to all those who are involved with helicopter operations in one way or another!

This is me on one of our training flights. I am having so much fun learning to operate this thing. Picture by Arvid Holen

CONTEST! - So figured I’d do something different today. As you all know I am terrible when it comes to engaging with my followers, therefore I’ll try to rectify that today. Not a permanent rectification mind you, more like a one off kind of thing because we only flew one sortie today and I got back to my hotel room early🤷🏼‍♂️ Also I should emphasize that the PRIZE is only a postcard with one of my pictures on it sent to your mailbox, so I wouldn’t say the stakes are high.

If you’re still reading though, please SAVE and COMMENT on this post, and I will pick a winner or two in few days…or definitely within a week.

I’m still here! Busy times both at work and at home meant Instagram had to take a back seat to life in general. But with views like this, I figured it was time to check back in.

Autumn from the best seat in the house.

A great end to the summer that never was. Better late than never I guess.

A great evening flight out of Hammerfest! Tomorrow is the first day of midnight sun here, so there won’t be much need for NVGs for a while.

Can’t believe it’s been 13 years since I shot this. @airbus_helicopters was using our helideck @nosefo.no, department Tau for certification of the H175. Great day!
