There’s something about working with elderly patients that stays with you longer even after you leave.

At a recent medical outreach with the lovewalk project @lovewalk_project ,I realized that sometimes it’s not just the checkup’s or procedures that matter the most;it’s what you say after.
A few words of reassurance can calm anxiety, soften fear, and make someone feel seen.

Healthcare isn’t always about doing more.
Sometimes,it’s pausing and reminding your patient that they’re okay.

I’m still learning, but this is one lesson I’ll carry with me always.🥹❤️

Hi my name is Jessica and this year I STAYED...

I stayed resilient, optimistic, faced my fears and pushed my boundaries.

I grieved,I laughed,I fell and I got right back up.
I enjoyed the gift of men and intentional friendships🌸
I learnt empathy and patience(clinical postings would teach you a lot of that😂)
Above all,I didn’t shift my gaze.I held on to the one who loves me,the one who is most intentional about me(Isaiah 49:15🥹)

If you’re seeing this, this is your sign to be dangerously audacious in 2026.
Take it all,all that your father has prepared for you.
Go get it!✨

The team members/ volunteers were definitely not left out on the big day!

Here’s a peek into how the team members/volunteers showed love to the children and teenagers on the magnificent day!

As the program was ongoing, more children and teenagers kept on coming in and they were being registered by the team members.

Face paint session:
We made provisions for fun time activities for the children like
FACE PAINT, having beautiful drawings painted on their faces and the team members too😍
