“ There are years that ask questions and years that answer” - Zora Neale Hurston On Saturday May 18 2024 I became the first person in my family to graduate from a College or University. I couldn’t have achieved this accomplishment anywhere better than the Illustrious Morgan State University. There has been countless of great individuals that I have meet along my journey that have shaped and molded me to the person standing before you today. From staff and faculty, to my friends and peers, and of course my line and fraternity brothers. Throughout the trials and tribulations my family has been my rock. Being one of eight children is hard being the oldest on top of that is definitely something, but I wouldn’t be here today with the countless sacrifices my parents have made and the love and support my siblings have given me throughout this journey. I am leaving Morgan as a better man ready to do my part in making the world a better place, and a proud member of The Honorable Alpha Chapter of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity Inc.
