The big 🍏 iPhone event this week announced six new products, but it was all about the iPhone Duo.

Here’s why it’s got me a little scared as an iPad Mini fan 😳

I didn’t buy a new Mac this year.

BUT I did spend a silly amount on accessories for my old one.

Here are seven you should know about!

I spent the past couple of weeks putting the newiPhone 18 Pro’s camera through everything — aperture blades, RAW controls, zoom limits, even went head to head with my Osmo Pocket and my actual cinema camera. 📸

Short version: this isn’t the upgrade for everyone. But if you’re the kind of person who knows/notices the difference between F1.4 and F4... this might be the best iPhone camera yet.

Full breakdown — the good, the overhyped, and the one thing that made me want to upgrade more than any spec sheet did — is live on YouTube now. Link in bio 🔗 taken in York by @thatmarkgilroy

The @raycastapp x @nuphy.studio Air75 v3 is back for a second drop. Black chassis, red accents, custom Raycast keycaps and a co-branded metal plate round the back.

This is a limited edition built on their best-selling Air75v3 and only comes with the one switch option (Blush Nano, but it’s the best one so don’t worry).

This is a keyboard designed to be shaped around how you actually work, not how someone guessed you might.

Full review coming next week.

With all this iPhone Duo fanfare you might be wondering: why would anyone buy an iPad Mini anymore?

Yep, me too.

Would you use this?

The @looki.ai is a wearable camera that journals your days for you. Like a highlight reel but daily, and something you don’t have to make yourself. Capture what you want or set it to story mode and moments appear in the app.

I have a dummy iPhone Duo unit that I’ll be using to film some case footage ahead of launch and, even though this isn’t the real thing, I have some thoughts.

It’s smaller than you’d think. Like smaller than a passport.

The form feels good in the hands, you won’t need to have massive hands to use it either folded or unfolded.

Because of the way the cameras sit, if you’re planning on getting the Duo, you’ll definitely need a case and screen protector to stop it all getting scratched up. taken in York by @thatmarkgilroy

This might be the most overkill EDC I’ve ever put together.

Interchangeable bags, smart recording tools, storage upgrades and fitness tracking rings.

Full setup and product links now on my YouTube channel- link in bio!

Apple held an iPhone event.

At least, that’s what it said on the tin.

New iPhone 18 Pro. New AirPods. New Watch. And then — iPhone Duo. Apple’s first foldable.

I have a lot of thoughts percolating - full roundup coming tomorrow. Including why I think this event should have every iPad owner a little nervous.

Especially you, iPad Mini.
