Laughed so hard I cried at this💀💀💀 by @thatmoderndadlife

“You cannot discuss the ocean with a frog. They only know the pond…”

Even Kings bleed and Knights cry…we kneel to pray and desire the touch of a Queen. It’s dna. Blood on our hands from losing a fight but never from losing a battle. You are loved, regardless of who you are or what you have done. Forgiveness is peace, and peace is everything.

There’s no need to ever put someone’s flame out. Be a lighter and ignite the fire in others. #love #light #pain #loss #mentalhealthadvocate by @thatmoderndadlife

I love the chilly, snuggled up by the fireplace with a coffee, a movie, and my person, type of season. 💖🎄 by @thatmoderndadlife

Life is beautiful. Every day I enjoy the fight, the struggle, and the pain more. Life doesn’t get easier, we just get stronger and more able to carry the weight. Bring it on, I am battle ready. #masculineenergy #healingjourney #fighter #sunset #florida by @thatmoderndadlife

My favorite guy ❤️❤️❤️ Nothing in this world beats time spent with my kids. #father #love #weightlifting #bonding #daddy by @thatmoderndadlife

I’m learning that nothing in this life is promised. Not tomorrow. Not the people I love. Not the future I’ve imagined or the plans I’ve poured my heart into.

I can do everything in my power to build a beautiful life, and still watch parts of it fall apart in ways I never saw coming.

So I’m learning to appreciate what I have while I have it. To love without holding back. To say what I feel. To be present instead of assuming there will always be more time.

Because one of life’s hardest lessons is realizing that forever is never guaranteed, no matter how deeply I believe in it.

And if life has taught me anything, it’s that the greatest tragedy isn’t losing something I love. It’s failing to appreciate its beauty while it was still mine. #beauty #love #life #relationships #selfcare by @thatmoderndadlife

To the dads out there chasing something bigger while raising a family...
Don't lose that hunger.
I wake up before the sun because I refuse to spend my life waiting for things to change.
I'm balancing responsibilities, chasing a vision, and trying to become the man my children deserve.
And some mornings, I'm exhausted before the day even begins.
But experience has taught me something important.
Comfort is dangerous.
Not because there's anything wrong with enjoying life.
But because getting comfortable with less than you're capable of can quietly steal your future.
I've had setbacks.
I've questioned my decisions.
I've celebrated wins only to wake up facing another mountain.
That's the reality of building something.
The early victories don't mean you've arrived.
And the difficult days don't mean you're losing.
But there's something else I've had to understand.
Being hungry and running yourself into the ground are not the same thing.
My children don't need a father who sacrifices his health, happiness, and presence chasing success.
They need a man who knows what he's fighting for.
A man who can pursue a dream without forgetting to enjoy the life he's already been given.
That's the balance I'm working toward.
And it's why I built sharrk.io from the ground up.
I wanted to change how business owners operate.
What started as an idea has become a platform I'm incredibly proud of.
And having Mako, our AI assistant, let owners set up and run things on the platform by talking to it is incredible.
It's technology designed to take work off an owner's plate.
Every breakthrough makes me hungrier to see what it can become.
And here's what I want every hardworking dad to remember.
Your ambition matters.
But so does being there for the moments you can never get back.
Because the goal isn't to spend your entire life chasing freedom.
It's to create a life where your ambition and the people you love can finally thrive together.

True peace #peace #relax #bedtimeroutine by @thatmoderndadlife

At some point, you stop calling it hard work.

You stop looking for motivation. You stop negotiating with yourself. You stop needing someone to push you.

You just show up.

Every. Single. Day.

Because the man you’re becoming doesn’t need to be convinced to do what the man you used to be avoided.

Discipline becomes routine. Consistency becomes identity. And the things that once required everything you had become the things you do without thinking twice.

That’s what becoming a man is really about.

Not the weight you lift. Not the money you make. Not the attention you receive.

It’s about keeping the promises you make to yourself, especially when nobody is watching.

I’m not chasing motivation anymore.

I’m building a life where doing the right things is simply who I am.

The work doesn’t get easier. You become the kind of man who doesn’t need it to.

Faith first. Father always. Love hard. Lead well.

Heavy is the crown. 👑

Me: Why can't I just feel at peace?
Also me: Because you've spent so much time trying to fix everything that you've forgotten how to simply live.
Me: But I have responsibilities. People depending on me. Dreams I'm chasing.
Also me: And none of those require you to live in constant urgency.
Me: What about everything I've lost?
Also me: You can grieve what mattered without letting it steal what's still beautiful.
Me: What about the mistakes I've made?
Also me: Own them. Learn from them. Change. Then forgive yourself enough to move forward.
Me: What if I stop pushing so hard?
Also me: Discipline doesn't require desperation. You can be ambitious and still be gentle with yourself.
Me: And love? I still want someone to share this life with.
Also me: Of course you do. Just don't abandon your peace while searching for it.
Me: What do my children need most from me?
Also me: A father who's present. Patient. Emotionally available. Someone whose love feels safe.
Me: So what does peace actually look like?
Also me: Accepting the past without reopening it. Leading without controlling. Loving without fear. Working without losing yourself.
Me: And what about the business I'm building?
Also me: That's part of this journey too.
sharrk.io started with a vision of making business ownership less overwhelming.
Building it has demanded patience, faith, and persistence.
And seeing what it's become has been incredibly rewarding.
Having Mako, our AI assistant, let owners set up and run things on the platform just by telling it what they need is incredible.
We're building technology that helps people breathe a little easier.
Me: So I don't have to choose between success and peace?
Also me: No. You just have to stop sacrificing one to chase the other.
I want a beautiful life, not just an impressive one.
And for the first time, I'm giving myself permission to build it peacefully.
