This was a very special Project for me. It's not often you get to cover one of your best friends song, in the studio that it was originally recorded in, while tackling a subject about mental health that is close to my heart.

To close out Mental Health Awareness month, I don't know if there is a more important subject matter than Suicide. We all have been touched by someone dealing with this issue. Whether it's a family member, friend, co-worker or yourself. It's an epidemic facing all races, Nations, genders, ages and ethnicities. It doesn't discriminate. It doesn't choose sides. It affects everyone. Especially right now, more people then ever are struggling with mental health due to the Covid Pandemic. Just because someone carries it well, doesn't mean their burden isn't heavy. It's ok to not be ok. You are not alone. And you don't have to deal with this by yourself. There is help out there. Reach out. The world is a better place with you in it. I know it can feel like there is no way way out, but I promise you, with some help , we can find a way.

Special thanks to @erikron for letting me record at his studio. @iamtrevorpage for engineering/producing . @keenanreedarts for shooting. @fdphotostudio for the sick place to shoot and of course @telletwa for making such a moving, raw, vulnerable song.

This song along with all my other cover songs are available to stream on my SoundCloud/nicktetimusic
