When was the last time you felt a sense of awe? An experience that truly warranted the (overused imo) label "AWEsome"? Remind yourself of a moment that stopped you in your tracks. A sight, sound, dream, or perhaps a connection that seemingly could not be reduced to the words available to us in our vast vocabulary.

I think of the views I've seen from the top of a mountain or the worlds found on the ocean floor. A vision from a years old dream still clear as the day it happened, a deeply impressionable psychedelic journey, or a powerful sonic experience. An unfurling leaf, a birth of new life. The incomprehensible feat of the Artemis II mission.

What is it for you? Take the time to reinstall that magic in your memory. You owe it to yourself as a form of resistance in the overwhelming attention economy.

Our Bird of Paradise shot up some new growth but due to low humidity at this time of year was only able to open half of its leaf. With the treatment of a wet paper towel wrap covering the stuck leaf, it started to unfurl.

The new green really pops. I'm interested to see what this growing season will produce.
