Nu-metal and y2k addict: Classic Nu-metal album reviews / y2k-art / and badly-done Nu-metal memes. Let's be friends

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I always thought it was weird that Nothingface didn't become bigger. They were there from the beginning. Guess it was just bad luck. cause they had the sound and the grooves, even as far back as this 1996 release.

@korn_official finally got in touch and asked me to do some OG Y2K art for them... No wait? That was just a wet dream.

Album reviews 1997: Insta-AI did not care for the OG cover which it took down ASAP.

Anyways, as much as I dig early releases of NÜ. This is just a crappy album! Jacoby could not sing here, and his crappy performance actually makes the lackluster music pass by un-noticed. The tunes themselves are Nu-(ish) at best.

I always thought that Papa Roach was a bandwagon jumping band with INFEST. But they were actually there from the beginning, THEY JUST SUCKED!!!

Album Reviews 1997: So this Incubus ep dropped in January with the addition of a DJ reworking songs from their previous album + one new song. They are still very much in their RHCP/FNM phase here but they are bridging the gap to move into Numetal territory. 4 out of 5 Adidas Superstar(I love funk metal btw)
