Such a sick ass weekend and I can’t thank everyone who made it special enough, but the people who were there are absolutely incredible, @reannramoss hiked out Saturday night to spend the rest of the weekend and ride along, @rob_hostile_campbell as always helping me get my car right and pushing me to be a better driver, @jared_boland122 for bullying me into driving my car harder which led to Jon Boland bumping me to B group. @716_media got some banger shots of Rob chasing me in my first tandems and I can’t wait to see em 🫶 by @thatroc240

Long winded post to recap my first event and the prep leading to it. Wednesday night before the event we had a cam gear bolt back out and thought we junked the motor, myself, @mick_mullet and @brycee112057 stayed up later than I would’ve like and checked that everything was kosher internally and slapped the motor back together, Friday started out rough, car was down two cylinders and I was lost, and out of nowhere my savior @rob_hostile_campbell rolled up on the pit bike. I’ve never been so relieved to see someone, Rob helped me sort out so many issues all weekend and spoke some confidence into me. @reannramoss was by my side through all of the struggles this weekend and I can’t thank her enough for all she did, cooking breakfast, lunch, dinner, making sure my nerves were calmed, all of it. Another huge shoutout to @skrrtt_reynolds for letting me hop in with him and see what he does differently and to see what I can improve on, and another huge thank you to @scosmano04 for hopping in with me on Sunday to give me some pointers and yet again a solid confidence boost. I truly wouldn’t have been able to do it without any of you guys and I really don’t know if I’ll ever be able to repay you taken in Lake Erie Speedway by @thatroc240

2025 recap
Went to Boston for @reannramoss birthday (@justin_gorall was there too)
Went to LES to hang out and ride with @rob_hostile_campbell and @savannah_spools (beyond thankful for yall)
Went to the last battle at the border and got ReAnn to ride with Rob
Built two motors for my car, bought myself a truck, and to end the year I got to teach @reannramoss how to tig weld and worked on my first side job with my dad, thank you ReAnn for capturing those moments 💚💜 by @thatroc240

To say that building this car over the last 2.5 years has been challenging would be an understatement, but consistently throughout the whole process I have had the best person in my life pushing me and motivating me to see this project through. @reannramoss has been by my side this whole time, through spells of me wanting to drop it all and sell everything to the very rapid progress that was made recently and even more recently having a running car. I truly don’t know where I would be in life or if I would even still have the passion and drive I do without you. Thank you for pushing me day in and day out 💚💜 by @thatroc240

As much as it hurts to just see this car sit, it feels good to know that there’s finally some serious progress happening. If it wasn’t for @reannramoss pushing me to jump ship to a better paying job I wouldn’t have all the parts I now own nor would I be close to done ordering them. The family over at @rodakgarage constantly motivating me along the way and pushing me to take the extra step. @justin_gorall always being down to lend a hand or look at stuff along side me with a completely puzzled face but positive energy. I can’t wait for the day when I can finally drive this thing again, and that day is coming sooner than I can imagine! by @thatroc240
