“Perfume is the brother of breath.” - Yves Saint Laurent ✨ • #1. Tim Laurin perfume decanter dated 1991. Laurin is a Métis, Two-Spirit artist who grew up in Ontario and graduated the Sheridan College School of Design in 1985 and later earned his Master of Fine Arts degree from York University. You can find his glass artworks in permanent collections at the Corning Museum of Glass in New York and the Royal Ontario Museum here in Toronto. • #2. David Paterson perfume decanter. Paterson was born in Toronto and is a self-employed artist who is known for working exclusively with lead-free crystal and imported European coloured glasses. Bisley was born in England and is a self-taught artist with no formal education in art glass/design. Throughout the 90’s he experimented with hot glass to create perfume decanters, vases and custom vessels before ultimately moving onto his next and final passion, graphic novels and illustrations. Unmistakably Thomas Pulgini 🎨🖌️ Born in Wilmington, Delaware in 1965, Pulgini is a self-taught American Pop artist known for his bold, graphic depictions of the female form. His work pulls from Pop Art and 20th-century modernism, with influences including Andy Warhol, Pollock, Kline and Picasso. Blue Woman — c. 2010s Pulgini’s classic cobalt-blue figure, acrylic painted on canvas and set in a vintage Anco-Bilt frame sourced by the artist. 20 × 16.5” Portrait of a Woman — c. late 1990s–mid 2000s An earlier and striking example, painted directly on lightweight wood with a bold hot pink background. In a rare elongated 36 × 14” format, this piece is stark, sculptural and a departure from his more familiar blue figures. Both original works, signed by the artist & available at Thus. • DM for more details • #thomaspulgini #popart #modernart #artist #collectible by @thats_thus
